The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and an exterior material including the same. The thermoplastic resin composition included 90 to 99.5% by weight of styrene-based resins each including 5 to 30% by weight of acrylate rubber having a DLS average particle diameter of 0.25 to 0.32 μm or a TEM average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.27 μm based on a total weight of the styrene-based resins; and 0.5 to 10% by weight of a polyamide resin, and an exterior material including the thermoplastic resin composition. According to the present disclosure, a low-gloss thermoplastic resin composition having excellent aesthetics, such as softness, luxuriousness, and naturalness, due to uniformity, low gloss, and improvement in surface texture while having mechanical properties and processability equal or superior to those of conventional ASA resins; and an exterior material including the low-gloss thermoplastic resin composition may be provided.

Thermoplastic resin composition and exterior material including the same

The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and an exterior material including the same. The thermoplastic resin composition has low gloss and has mechanical properties and processability equal or superior to those of conventional ASA resins. The thermoplastic resin composition also has improved viscoelastic properties that can lead to excellent processability during the manufacture of a co-extruded product and excellent adhesion within the co-extruded product. The thermoplastic resin composition is also capable of reducing surface defects.

The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article including the same. The thermoplastic resin composition includes 10 to 70% by weight of a graft copolymer (A) including an acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer (A-1) containing acrylate rubber having an average particle diameter of 50 to 150 nm and an acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer (A-2) containing acrylate rubber having an average particle diameter of 300 to 600 nm; and 30 to 90% by weight of a non-grafted copolymer (B) including a high molecular weight aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound copolymer (B-1) having a weight average molecular weight of 160,000 to 200,000 g/mol and a low molecular weight aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound copolymer (B-2) having a weight average molecular weight of 80,000 g/mol or more and less than 160,000 g/mol.

A thermoplastic resin composition including 100 parts by weight of a base resin including 0.5 to 45% by weight of a graft copolymer (A-1) including acrylate rubber having an average particle diameter of 50 to 150 nm, an aromatic vinyl compound, and a vinyl cyanide compound, 20 to 80% by weight of a graft copolymer (A-2) including acrylate rubber having an average particle diameter of 151 to 600 nm, an aromatic vinyl compound, and a vinyl cyanide compound, and 10 to 45% by weight of an α-methylstyrene-based copolymer (B) having a weight average molecular weight of 60,000 to 180,000 g/mol; and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of an ultra-high molecular weight copolymer (C) having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000,000 to 12,000,000 g/mol. A method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article including the thermoplastic resin composition are also disclosed.

Thermoplastic resin composition, method of preparing the same, and molded article including the same

The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and an exterior material including the same. The thermoplastic resin composition includes 100 parts by weight of styrene-based resins; 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of a first polyamide resin having a melting temperature (Tm) of 230° C. or less; and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a second polyamide resin having a melting temperature (Tm) of 250° C. or more. Both the first and second polyamide resins have a relative viscosity of 2.5 or less. The present disclosure advantageously provides a low-gloss thermoplastic resin composition having excellent aesthetics, such as softness, luxuriousness, and naturalness, due to uniform and low gloss, and improvement in surface texture while having mechanical properties and processability equal or superior to those of conventional ASA resins; and an exterior material including the low-gloss thermoplastic resin composition.

A thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article including the same can include 100 parts by weight of a base resin including 10 to 50% by weight of an acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer (A-1) containing acrylate rubber having an average particle diameter of 0.3 to 0.5 μm, 5 to 40% by weight of an acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer (A-2) containing acrylate rubber having an average particle diameter of 0.05 μm or more and less than 0.3 μm, and 20 to 65% by weight of an aromatic vinyl polymer (B), and 0.5 to 12 parts by weight of a polyamide (C). The thermoplastic resin composition can have a solvent resistance of 15 days or more.
