An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, at least a first contact and a connecting element. The insulative housing defines at least a receiving slot extending along a front-and-back direction. The first contact is received in the corresponding receiving slot, the connecting element is partially received in the receiving slot. The electrical connector further comprises at least a second contact pluggably connected with the first contact and the connecting element, and the second contact is completely received in the receiving slot.

Electrical connector with high versatility

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a pair of contacts accommodated in the insulative housing and a temperature sensing element electrically connected with the contacts. The insulative housing defines a base portion and a receiving portion extending forwards from the base portion, the receiving portion has a cavity opening towards one side thereof. Each contact defines a retaining portion held in the base portion, a contacting arm provided at one end of the retaining portion and protruding into the cavity, and a mating arm provided at the opposite end of the retaining portion. The temperature sensing element is at least partially received in the cavity and connecting with the contacting arm of the contact in the cavity.

Electrical connector and electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector comprising an insulative housing and a retainer assembled into the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a mating face and a mounting face opposite to each other, and comprises a plurality of passageways passing through thereof along a front-and-back direction for receiving corresponding contacts and a receiving cavity recessed backwards from the mating face. The retainer is provided with a plurality of first latching portions and a plurality of second latching portions, and the first latching portions and the second latching portions are staggered along the front-and-back direction, the retainer is assembled and locked in the insulative housing without dropping out of the insulative housing via the first latching portions; after the contacts assembled into the insulative housing, the retainer is pushed towards the mounting face by an external force, until the second latching portions locked in receiving cavity.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing and a terminal module. The insulative housing has a mating portion and a main portion, the mating portion defines a mating cavity, the main portion has a receiving space. The terminal module includes a first terminal module and a second terminal module, the first terminal module defines a plurality of first contacting portions and the second terminal module defines a plurality of second contacting portions. The main portion has a pair of lateral walls, and the mating portion defines a pair of side walls. The main portion further has a plurality of ribs and a plurality of positioning slots, the ribs are attached on the exterior side faces of the relative side walls. The electrical connector further comprises a shielding member provided with a pair of side plates engaged with the positioning slots.

Electrical connector with complementary features on insulative housing and shielding member

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts. Each contact has a retaining section, a mating section and a crimping section, the insulative housing defines a positioning groove communicated with contact-receiving passageways, the retaining section is provided with an elastic retaining arm extending backwards, a pair of cutouts on both sides of the retaining arm along a transverse direction, and a pair of limiting walls exposed in the cutouts and the positioning groove. When the contacts assembled to the relative contact-receiving passageways, each retaining arm is abutting against a rear inner surface of the positioning groove via a free end thereof to prevent the contact moving backwards, the electrical connector further comprises a retainer, and the retainer defines a plurality of limiting blocks extruding into the positioning groove and the corresponding cutouts, and the limiting blocks are abutting against the relative limiting walls.
