A vehicle behavior control method includes: selecting a center of gravity point at which behavior control for a vehicle is to be performed; setting a target roll behavior value and a target pitch behavior value at the selected center of gravity point such that behavior of the selected center of gravity point is less than a predefined reference value; calculating a target roll moment corresponding to the target roll behavior value and a target pitch moment corresponding to the target pitch behavior value; generating a control signal to be transmitted to at least one actuator for following the target roll moment and the target pitch moment; and transmitting the control signal to the at least one actuator to perform control such that the behavior at the selected center of gravity point is less than the predefined reference value.

An apparatus and a method for controlling motion of a vehicle to improve turning motion performance are provided. The processor determines a riding position of a user, receives information about a steering angle of the vehicle, and outputs a vehicle control signal with regard to turning motion performance according to at least one of a phase difference between a yaw rate and lateral acceleration or a lateral slip angle with respect to the riding position, based on the received steering angle. A controller controls the vehicle in accordance with the vehicle control signal. The apparatus provides a passenger of the vehicle with optimal turning motion performance.

Vehicle motion control apparatus and method thereof

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for controlling the motion of a vehicle to improve riding comfort, and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a processor may determine a boarding location for a user and may determine a vehicle control signal in consideration of riding comfort according to acceleration or jerk based on the boarding location. A controller may control the vehicle depending on the vehicle control signal.

An apparatus and a method are configured for estimating a slope angle of a road. The slope angle of a road is estimated based on a longitudinal slope angle of the road which is calculated based on a Kinematic model, an effective weight corresponding to a control amount of a driver and a filter constant to estimate the slope angle of the road with higher precision in the case of a U-turn, rapid acceleration, or rapid deceleration in which a longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle is remarkably increased. The apparatus includes a controller to estimate the slope angle of the road, based on a longitudinal slope angle of the road which is calculated based on a Kinematic model, an effective weight corresponding to a control amount of a driver and a filter constant, and an output device to output the estimated slope angle of the road.

Apparatus and method for estimating a slope angle of a road

An integrated control system for a vehicle is provided. The system includes a friction coefficient calculation unit that calculates friction coefficients of left side and right side road surfaces, respectively, based on vehicle wheel state information and a predetermined setting information collected during ABS operation. A feedforward braking pressure calculation unit calculates a feedforward braking pressure of each vehicle wheel using the friction coefficients. An ABS braking pressure calculation unit calculates an ABS braking pressure of the each vehicle wheel based on the feedforward braking pressure and slip rate information. A rear wheel steering control amount calculation unit calculates a rear wheel steering control amount for yaw compensation using the ABS braking pressure of each vehicle wheel and a rear wheel steering controller executes a rear wheel steering control according to the rear wheel steering control amount.

A heat exchanger for a vehicle is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes a heat radiating portion provided with first and second connecting lines formed alternately by stacking a plurality of plates, and receiving first and second operating fluids respectively into the first and second connecting lines. The first and second operating fluids exchange heat with each other during passing through the first and second connecting lines. The heat exchanger also includes a bifurcating portion connecting an inflow hole for flowing one operating fluid of the first and second operating fluids with an exhaust hole for exhausting the one operating fluid, adapted for the one operating fluid to bypass the heat radiating portion according to a temperature of the one operating fluid, and mounted at an exterior of the heat radiating portion.

The heat exchanger also includes a bifurcating portion connecting an inflow hole for flowing one operating fluid of the first and second operating fluids with an exhaust hole for exhausting the one operating fluid, and the bifurcating portion is adapted for the one operating fluid to bypass the heat radiating portion according to a temperature of the one operating fluid. The heat exchanger further includes a valve unit mounted corresponding to the inflow hole and adapted to flow the one operating fluid selectively to the heat radiating portion or the bifurcating portion according to the temperature of the one operating fluid flowing in the inflow hole.

A method for controlling a heat pump system is provided with air conditioning means connected to a controller and including a plurality of valves and expansion valves connected to each other through a refrigerant line and a bypass line, a compressor, an accumulator, an evaporator, an exterior condenser, an interior condenser, and an HVAC module having a PTC heater and a door at a warming mode, a cooling mode, a dehumidification mode, a dehumidification/defrosting mode, or an extremely low temperature dehumidification/defrosting mode according to selection of a driver.

A cooling apparatus for a vehicle includes a cooling module connected to the cooling apparatus through a cooling line to cool a driving system. The cooling module includes, according to the amount of heat transfer and operation temperature, an aircon condenser disposed behind of a radiator grill. A radiator for an electromotive device is disposed in parallel under the aircon condenser behind of a bumper hole through which a large amount of outside air is introduced. A radiator for a stack is disposed behind of the aircon condenser, and a radiator for an electromotive device is disposed in parallel. A cooling fan is disposed behind of the radiator for a stack. The cooling apparatus includes an air guide unit mounted in front of the aircon condenser and the radiator for an electromotive device, the air guide unit preventing the bypassing of outside air introduced during operation of a vehicle while distributing and introducing the outside air. Accordingly, to improve the cooling performance of the cooling module, the aircon condenser and the radiator for an electromotive device are configured in parallel, and the radiator for a stack is disposed behind, according to the amount of heat transfer and operation temperature, so that outside air introduced from the outside of the vehicle is efficiently distributed and supplied and is then cooled, thus improving cooling efficiency and ensuring the cooling performance.
