Disclosed herein is an image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes at least one pressing unit configured to bring the developing roller and the photoreceptor in contact with each other, an operating unit which is configured to be in an operating position during which a pressing force of the pressing unit is generated, and a standby during at which the pressing force is released, and a cover unit detachably provided to one side of the developing device and configured to guide movement of the operating unit to the operating position. By this configuration, operation of the operating unit is linked with an operation of detachment or attachment of the cover unit.

An image forming device comprises: an exposer having a plurality of light emitting devices, a light emitting device among the plurality of light emitting devices to transmit light toward a photosensitive drum; and a developer to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a surface of the photosensitive drum by the light, wherein the light emitting device among the plurality of light emitting devices includes: a light emitting layer to generate the light; and a reflective layer to reflect at least a portion of the generated light. The reflective layer can include a plurality of sub-reflective layers, in which a thickness of a sub-reflective layer among the plurality of sub-reflective layers is different from a thickness of another sub-reflective layer among the plurality of sub-reflective layers, and/or a refractive index of a sub-reflective layer among the plurality of sub-reflective layers is different from a refractive index of another sub-reflective layer among the plurality of sub-reflective layers.

Image forming apparatus and light emitting device

An image forming apparatus has an improved structure which avoids additional expenses associated with packing a developing unit and allows the developing unit to be stably stored. The image forming apparatus may include a body, a first developing unit accommodating portion and a second developing unit accommodating portion disposed at different positions in the body, and a developing unit which is allowed to be detachably accommodated in the first developing unit accommodating portion and the second developing unit accommodating portion. When accommodated in the first developing unit accommodating portion, the developing unit may be disposed such that it does not perform image formation. When accommodated in the second developing unit accommodating portion, the developing unit may be disposed to perform image formation.
