Methods and apparatuses for Downlink (DL) signaling reception are provided. The method receives a configuration of multiple Control Resource Sets (CORESETs) overlapping in time domain. The method selects a first CORESET, and then selects a second CORESET by performing a set of operations including: in response to determining that the first CORESET is associated with only one Quasi-Co-Location (QCL) type D property, selecting a CORESET that is associated with two QCL type D properties, one of which being the only one QCL type D property, as the second CORESET, and in response to determining that the first CORESET is associated with two QCL type D properties, selecting a CORESET that is associated with only one QCL type D property, which is one of the two QCL type D properties, as the second CORESET. The method monitors, at least, the first CORESET and the second CORESET to receive the DL signaling.

Methods and apparatuses for downlink signaling reception

A method related to physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) cell switching and a user equipment (UE) are provided. The method includes: receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message from a base station; determining a PUCCH cell from the first cell and the second cell according to at least one PUCCH cell pattern; and transmitting the PUCCH transmission on the PUCCH cell during the time resource units. The RRC message includes at least one PUCCH cell pattern associated with multiple cell indexes and a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) associated with a first cell and a second SCS associated with a second cell. Each cell index corresponds to a cell, and the PUCCH cell pattern indicates which cell corresponds to one time resource unit used for PUCCH transmission.

A wireless communication method, a User Equipment (UE), and a Base Station (BS) for performing repetition-based Uplink (UL) transmissions are provided. The wireless communication method includes receiving, from the BS, a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message including first information indicating a repetition type, second information indicating a plurality of Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) states, and third information including a plurality of items each configuring a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) resource allocation; receiving Downlink Control Information (DCI) that indicates one of the plurality of items; determining a set of nominal PUSCH repetitions; and transmitting at least one actual PUSCH repetition that is determined based on the set of nominal PUSCH repetitions, wherein each nominal PUSCH repetition in the set of nominal PUSCH repetitions maps to one of the plurality of TCI states.

Wireless communication method and User Equipment for performing repetition-based Uplink transmissions

A method for a user equipment (UE) to monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is provided. The method receives, while being in a radio resource control (RRC)_CONNECTED state, from a base station (BS), an RRC release message that includes a small data transmission (SDT) configuration. After receiving the RRC release message, the method transitions to an RRC_INACTIVE state from the RRC_CONNECTED state in response to receiving the RRC release message. The method then initiates an SDT procedure based on the SDT configuration. The method further determines whether a search space set associated with an SDT search space is received from the BS. The method monitors the PDCCH by monitoring the search space set during the SDT procedure when the search space set is received from the BS.

The method includes receiving at least one MAC CE for TCI state activation, each MAC CE indicating a CORESET and at least one TCI state, at least a subset of the indicated TCI state(s) belonging to a first group of TCI states associated with a first TRP; and performing first operations after determining that a total number of TCI states included in the first group of TCI states is larger than a first threshold number, the first operations including: selecting at least one first TCI state from the first group of TCI states; and determining at least one first BFD RS for detecting a first beam failure condition of the first TRP based on the at least one first TCI state.
