A tool for placing and securing sealing strip (11) into a joint gap (19) between structural parts (17, 18) includes a lead-in device (10) guiding the sealing strip (11) into the joint gap (19), an insertion device (8) aligning the sealing strip (11) and a contact pressure device (7) with two coextensive contact pressure faces (12, 13) for pressing the sealing strip (11) within the joint gap (19). A spacing (A) between the contact pressure faces (12, 13) transversely of their coextension is variable.

A disk-shaped tool bit (8) of an angle grinder has an annular disk-shaped carrier member covered on its radially outer circumferentially extending surface and on its side face surfaces with abrasive grains. A central through opening extending between the side face surfaces (8a, 8b) serves for attaching the tool bit to the angle grinder. The central through opening has a surface extending between the side face surfaces and tapering inwardly from each side face surface toward the axis of the central opening. The inwardly tapering surfaces form engagement surfaces (8c, 8d), at which an attachment element (11) of a receiving device (7) of the angle grinder bears for securing the tool bit in place. The attachment element (11) does not project outwardly from the side face surface (8b) facing outwardly from the angle grinder.

For securing an expansion anchor formed of an anchor sleeve and an expansion element into a prepared hole in a receiving material, a conventional piston type explosive powder charge driven setting gun is adapted to hold individual anchors in a guide member mounted on the gun and then by means of a combined sleeve-like piston guide and piston mounted within the guide member to insert the anchor from the guide member into the prepared hole and to drive the expansion element into the anchor sleeve for firmly securing the anchor within the hole.
