A seat assembly is provided that may include a seatback and a seat bottom. The seatback may extend generally upright. The seat bottom may be connected to the seatback and may include a frame and a seat bottom adjustment mechanism. The seat bottom adjustment mechanism may include first and second cushion pans that are movable relative to the frame and movable relative to each other between first and second configurations. The first and second cushion pans may support one or more seat cushions.

Adjustable seat assembly

A seat assembly may include a seatback, a seat bottom and an adjustment mechanism. The seat bottom may include an aft portion adjacent to the seatback, a front portion opposite the aft portion, and a central portion disposed between the front and aft ends. The adjustment mechanism may support the central portion for movement relative to the front portion between first and second positions.

Movable seat insert

A stowable seat can include a seat back having an upper end, an opposite lower end and a seating side, a seat bottom having a forward end, a rearward end and a seating side, and a linkage arrangement. The linkage arrangement can include a first member pivotably coupled to the seat bottom and a vehicle support structure, a second member pivotably coupled to the seat bottom and the support structure, a third member fixed to the seat back and pivotably coupled to the support structure, and a fourth member pivotably coupled to the second member and the third member. The linkage arrangement can facilitate suspending the seat bottom in a seating position from the support structure in spaced relation to the floor; rotating the seat bottom to a stadium position; and rotating the seat back and articulating the seat bottom to a stowed position.

Stowable vehicle seat

A vehicle seat is provided, in particular motor vehicle seat, including a seat part () and a backrest () which are connected by recliner fittings () that are connected together by a shaft () connected to a hand lever () for unlocking each recliner fitting to adjust an angle of the backrest relative to the seat base. The fitting has a first fitting part () and a second fitting part () mounted to be rotatable relative to each other about an axis of rotation. The second fitting part has inwardly facing toothing which extends along at least a portion of an arc. A locking device with a driving elementis connected to the shaft and locking elements movable in response to rotation of the shaft.

Vehicle seat and recliner fitting for vehicle seat

A vehicle seat (), especially a motor vehicle seat, has at least one lockable pair of seat rails () for adjusting various longitudinal positions of the seat, which the vehicle seat () can assume in the use position suitable for the transport of passengers. A rail actuation device () is provided for unlocking the pair of seat rails (). At least one lock () is provided for locking with the vehicle structure, whereby after unlocking the lock (), the vehicle seat () can be converted from the use position into a nonuse position. A lock actuation device () is provided for unlocking the lock (). A stop () is provided which is operative between the pair of seat rails () and/or rail actuation (), on the one hand, and the lock actuation () and/or lock (), on the other hand.
