An optical observation instrument according to the invention, in particular a surgical microscope or exoscope, comprises an optics unit with an objective arrangement and at least one electronic image recorder, wherein the optics unit has a first stereo channel with a first beam path and a second stereo channel with a second beam path for recording a stereo image of an object field with the at least one electronic image recorder and wherein the first and the second beam path extend through the objective arrangement. The instrument moreover comprises a retaining apparatus, on which the optics unit is mounted so as to be rotatable about a first axis of rotation, the latter at least approximately corresponding to an axis of the objective arrangement, wherein the optical observation instrument has a viewing direction that is angled in relation to the axis of the objective arrangement and comprises a deflection element, arranged on the object-side of the objective arrangement, for deflecting the first and the second beam path into the objective arrangement. The invention further relates to a method for generating a stereo image of an object field.

Optical observation instrument and method for creating a stereo image of an object field

An optical observation instrument according to the invention, in particular a surgical microscope or exoscope, comprises an optics unit with an objective arrangement and at least one electronic image recorder, wherein the optics unit has a first stereo channel with a first beam path and a second stereo channel with a second beam path for recording a stereo image of an object field with the at least one electronic image recorder and wherein the first and the second beam path extend through the objective arrangement. Further, the observation instrument comprises a retaining apparatus which comprises a retaining bracket, which engages over the optics unit, wherein the retaining bracket comprises an operating device with a number of operating elements for controlling a retaining arm, to which the retaining apparatus is connectable.

A negative lens, for an oblique-view endoscope objective, has a first face with a first optical surface and a second face with a second optical surface opposing the first optical surface, the second optical surface being a concave optical surface, wherein a recess is formed in the second face adjacent to the concave optical surface. An endoscope objective, that includes a deflection prism having an entrance face and further including a negative lens, the negative lens having a first face with a first optical surface and a second face with a second optical surface opposing the first optical surface, the second optical surface being a concave optical surface. The negative lens is mounted on a distal planar surface of the deflection prism such that a rim encompassing the concave optical surface abuts the distal planar surface of the deflection prism.

An endoscope includes a window component made of a transparent material at the distal end of the endoscope, wherein the window component is not rotationally symmetric in relation to the direction of view, and an optical correction apparatus with a cylindrical lens for correcting the aberration of the window component. The correction apparatus may contain a second lens movable relative to the cylindrical lens.

A relay lens system for transmitting an image from a distal end of the relay lens systems to a proximal end of the relay lens system including a plurality of imaging devices with in each case one or more lenses, wherein each imaging device of the plurality of imaging devices images a real intermediate image distal to the imaging device into a further real intermediate image proximal to the imaging device. The plurality of imaging devices has a plurality of first imaging devices and a second imaging device. The first imaging devices each have a chromatic aberration. The chromatic aberration of the first imaging devices is corrected by the second imaging device. The second imaging device is arranged between the first imaging devices.

In an optics tube for an endoscope, a lens arrangement including at least one rod lens is received in the inside of the optics tube, wherein a sleeve is fixed on the at least one rod lens and at least partially encloses the rod lens, and wherein the sleeve is welded to the optics tube. A linear motor for optical systems, for example, endoscopes, is described. The motor has a stator with a magnetic guiding member and a coil. The armature of the motor includes two permanent magnets which are of opposite polarity. A pole piece made of soft-magnetic material is provided between the permanent magnets. By applying current to the coil, the armature can be displaced from a rest position in the longitudinal direction.

Reluctance and lorentz-force-operated linear drive

A linear motor for optical systems, for example, endoscopes, is described. The motor has a stator with a magnetic guiding member and two adjacently disposed coils which are energized in opposite directions. Furthermore permanent magnets polarized in opposite directions and in the axial direction are provided on both sides of the pair of coils. The armature of the motor has a permanent magnet which is polarized in the opposite direction to the permanent magnet of the stator and is connected to a pole piece at each end. The pole pieces are arranged so that in the rest position each pole piece lies at the centre of one of the coils. By applying current to the coil, the armature can be displaced from a rest position in the longitudinal direction.
