A connection element for producing a fluid-tight screw connection of a line, having a thread includes a thread groove, delimited by a thread base and neighboring thread flanks, a sealant situated in the thread groove at least over one complete revolution of the thread groove, and an adhesive bond being implemented between the sealant and the thread groove, wherein the sealant contains at least one material selected from the following group: silicones, fluoropolymers, in particular perfluoroalkoxypolymers, epoxide resins, and polyurethanes. The connection element can further be utilized in a pipe part and/or a valve.

The present disclosure relates to a sealing element for a pressed connection that includes an essentially ring-shaped body constructed of elastic material. The cutting edge is configured to be moved out of the ring-shaped body during a pressing-together of the pressed connection. The present disclosure further relates to a pressed connection for plumbing fixtures. The pressed connection includes a connection piece adapted to have a receiving device constructed therein and configured to receive a pipe end. The connection device is further configured to be pressed together into the pressed connection. Further included is a sealing element arranged in the receiving device, the sealing element comprised as described above.

Sealing element

A connecting piece for establishing a connecting arrangement for a pipe which can be pressed together comprises a stub which can be inserted into a pipe. Profilings for the pressing-together with the pipe and a stop are on the stub. At least one radially projecting spacer is provided on the stub. The spacer defining a gap for forming a flow duct between the stub and the pipe. The spacer may have an interruption for forming part of the flow duct.

The flow channel extends diagonally to a plane in a longitudinal direction of the end section and changes a depth of the space.

A fitting or a mounting part, particularly for the connection with a tube-shaped component, comprises an end section, which can be pressed together for establishing a connection. At the end section, a ring-shaped elevation is arranged in which a sealing ring is disposed. According to the invention, a bulge is provided on the elevation. By means of the bulge, a space is formed between the sealing ring and the wall of the end section, such that a fluid can flow between the tube-shaped components. Only by pressing together this leaky point, will a sealed-off connection arrangement be established.

Before or during the insertion of the tube into the fitting, the sealing ring is elastically outwardly deformed from the inner contours by means of at least one installed shaped part. The tube end is then inserted up to a contact surface, which forms the interior boundary of the retaining section of the fitting. There upon, the parts are pressed together by cold deformation of the parts. The method and the shaped parts are installed preferably in sanitary engineering and are used wherever liquids or gaseous media are carried through tubes.

A press tool for non-detachably connecting through cold deformation a fitting and an end portion of a metal pipe received in a socket of the fitting, includes a wraparound ring for placement over the socket of the fitting, and a machine-operated clamping device. The wraparound ring includes a plurality of hinged links and is open at one closing area between two terminal links which are formed with pockets to form grip points for application of the clamping device. The clamping device has a pair of jaws which terminate in lobed ends for engagement in the pockets of the terminal links. The socket of the fitting has formed interiorly a receiving groove which opens inwardly for receiving at least one holding element which is formed with projections or cutting edges for penetrating the material of the metal pipe during radial cold deformation.

An air-regulation device is combined into a single subassembly along with a pneumatic switch that activates a circulating pump associated with a bathtub. The common housing has air channels that open into connector bushings on a connector. The inlets to the air channels can be closed or opened by means of a control knob with a kidney-shaped air passage. The piston of the pneumatic switch is mounted in such a way as to slide within a chamber in the center of the housing. The piston is activated by means of a disk positioned in a recess in the knob. Air flows around the disk in all operating positions.
