The device for evaporating volatile substances comprises a container () housing a liquid with the volatile substances, and wick () in contact with said liquid and extending outside said container (), wherein the device also comprises a porous element () placed inside the container () that is impregnated with said liquid with the volatile substances. The presence of the porous element inside the container permits to place the evaporation device according to the present invention in any suitable position, preventing the leakage of the liquid and still allowing its correct performance.

Disclosed herein is a method of trapping arthropods by providing a substantially planar, flexible insert having a LED-facing surface having an adhesive for trapping the arthropods disposed thereon. Then, bending the insert into a curved configuration and inserting the insert into an arthropod trapping device. The device includes a housing having a base and a curved shade. The curved shade is configured to receive the insert and comprises a LED-facing surface. A first LED having a peak wavelength of from about 400 nm to about 500 nm is mounted on the base and is configured to emit light in a direction substantially perpendicular to the LED-facing surface of the shade. A second LED having a peak wavelength of from about 350 nm to about 400 nm is mounted on the base and is configured to emit light in a direction substantially parallel to the LED-facing surface of the shade.

An air freshener for vehicles includes a main body for holding a container for volatile substances and a foldable clip that may be placed in a substantially perpendicular position with respect to the main body. The foldable clip is rotatable with respect to the main body. The clip may always be connected with the main body, so that it is sold with it occupying a reduced space in the package. The clip may be rotated to be adapted to any kind of ventilation grids.

An apparatus for delivering a volatile material in a continuous manner is disclosed. The apparatus includes a delivery engine having a reservoir for containing a volatile material; a rupturable substrate secured to the reservoir; a rupture element positioned adjacent to the rupturable substrate; and a breathable membrane enclosing the reservoir, rupturable substrate and rupture element. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a housing having a notch for compressing the rupture element and breaching the rupturable substrate as it is inserted into the housing.

An insect trapping device includes a base with a shroud and a cartridge. The cartridge includes an adhesive portion that is positioned adjacent the shroud, when the cartridge is attached to the base. The shroud includes an electric heating element, which heats the shroud and the adhesive portion of the cartridge.
