The present disclosure relates to a method for the automatic transverse guidance of a following vehicle in a vehicle platoon. The method comprises determining and receiving a plurality of lane data. A lane course is able to be determined on the basis of the plurality of lane data and the following vehicle is able to be transversely guided on the basis of the determined lane course. The method is able to prevent an increase in swaying movements from the front to the rear in the vehicle platoon. In addition, the vehicles of the vehicle platoon are able to remain in the starting lane, even when a vehicle of the vehicle platform driving in front changes lane.

Method for the automatic transverse guidance of a following vehicle in a vehicle platoon

A maneuvering aid for a vehicle has a lighting device configured to at least partially illuminate at least an underlying surface under the vehicle and/or a vehicle bodywork. A control device configured to control the lighting device in order to activate and/or deactivate same. The control device is configured to control the lighting device at least as a function of a vehicle speed and/or of a vehicle acceleration and/or of a distance of the vehicle from a roadway boundary or an obstacle in the roadway. A corresponding method, a corresponding vehicle, and a headlight assembly are described as well.

Maneuvering aid, method, and headlight device for a utility vehicle

A device for installation in a utility vehicle for warning or consideration of a utility-vehicle-relevant driving restriction. The device includes a receiving unit for receiving at least one item of utility-vehicle-relevant information, which is transmitted from an apparatus arranged on a traffic infrastructure or at least adjacent thereto and which relates to the traffic infrastructure, and a provision unit for providing the item of utility-vehicle-relevant information or an item of information based thereon to the driver of the utility vehicle. The apparatus for placement on or at least adjacent to a traffic infrastructure comprises a functional unit for storing or processing at least one item of utility-vehicle-relevant information relating to the traffic infrastructure and a transmitting unit for transmitting the item of utility-vehicle-relevant information to one or more utility vehicles.

Arrangement for warning of and/or for consideration of utility-vehicle-relevant driving restrictions

A method and a device detect a transverse inclination of a roadway on which a vehicle is traveling. The transverse inclination is detected on the basis of a transverse acceleration of the vehicle that is generated by the transverse inclination of the roadway. A transverse acceleration of the vehicle is measured with a measuring device. A transverse acceleration that is generated by driving maneuvers of the vehicle is determined by a transverse inclination observer. The transverse acceleration of the vehicle due to the transverse inclination of the roadway is subsequently determined by determining a difference between the transverse acceleration generated by the driving maneuvers and the transverse acceleration measured by the measuring device. A method and a device are also provided for compensating for the transverse inclination of the roadway on which a vehicle is traveling. A steering angle which compensates for the transverse acceleration of the vehicle that is caused by the transverse inclination of the roadway, by way of a transverse inclination compensator. The steering angle is set by taking into consideration the transverse acceleration of the vehicle caused by the transverse inclination of the roadway.
