A machining tool, in particular a polishing head and its attachment to mount it to the spindle housing of a milling machine. The invention provides the machining tool with an adapter arranged on the front side of the spindle housing to which the housing of the machining tool is attached, sluable on a transverse plane at a right angle to the spindle axis. The adapter has a coupling for the rotary connection to the horizontal work spindle as well tension devices to compensate for play.

Attachment tool for machine tools such as milling machines

A tool carriage for automatically loading tools into and unloading tools from tool magazines of numerically controlled tools. A tool changing assembly is mounted for two-dimensional movement with respect to a slide member which is movable in two dimensions with respect to the supporting structure of the carriage. The tool changing assembly has gripping arms on a carrier rotatably mounted to a saddle, the arms being adapted to move tools between a tool supply magazine on the carriage and the machine tool magazine.

The subject matter of the invention is an adjustable straight-line guide for, more particularly, machine tools, whose guide shoe, in order to obtain improved frictional properties while reducing the 'stick-slip' effect with high vibration-damping characteristics, has roller circulation combined with a sliding surface and for automatic alignment in respect to the sliding surface of the guide path, and also for initial stressing which is simple to effect, is held by adjusting elements, acting multi-axially, at the guided machine part.

Adjustable circulating roller body straight-line guide

The subject of the invention is an adjustable guide for machine parts of machine tools with guide shoes (15) in which provision is made for circulation of roller bodies (18) in combination with a sliding surface (17). Each guide shoe has pre-stressing and adjusting means (23) acting multiaxially. In order to avoid refinishing the guides that are secured to the fixed machine part (1), according to the invention guide rails (3) with fine-machined sliding surfaces (5, 6) are provided on the moveable machine part (2). Stands (7 to 10), having in their facing sides at least one cut-out (14) whose form corresponds to that of the guide rails (3, 4), are rigidly secured to the fixed machine part (1). One of the guide shoes (15) and its adjusting means is arranged in each cut-out side surface.
