A motor pump unit for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus has an electric motor and a pump. The electric motor has a motor housing that is surrounded by a cooling housing with an annular space having an annular space inlet and an annular space outlet formed therebetween. The pump has a suction inlet connected to the annular space outlet and a pressure outlet. The liquid to be transported by the pump can be supplied to the annular space inlet. In order to improve the motor pump unit such that the motor housing can have a small wall thickness and can still be cooled effectively over a large surface area, the motor housing is configured as a one-piece deep-drawn part which in a front shell area contacts stator laminations of the electric motor and in a rear shell area is arranged at a distance from rear coil heads of the stator and in the rear shell area has stiffness-enhancing depressions, wherein the front and the rear shell areas are surrounded by the annular space.

Motor pump unit

A motor pump unit for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus has an electric motor and a pump. The electric motor has a motor housing that is surrounded by a cooling housing with an annular space having an annular space inlet and an annular space outlet formed therebetween. The pump has a drive housing on which is supported the motor shaft, and has a suction inlet and a pressure outlet. The annular space outlet is fluidly connected to the suction inlet and liquid to be pressurized by the pump is suppliable to the annular space inlet. In order to improve the motor pump unit such that the heat load on the drive housing can be reduced, the drive housing has at least one cooling passage which is arranged upstream of the suction inlet and through which the liquid to be pressurized can flow.

A motor pump unit for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus has an electric motor and a pump. The electric motor has a motor housing that is surrounded by a cooling housing with an annular space having an annular space inlet and an annular space outlet formed therebetween. The pump has a suction inlet connected to the annular space outlet and a pressure outlet. The liquid to be transported by the pump can be supplied to the annular space inlet. The cooling housing, on its inside, has at least one flow guide rib for guiding the liquid within the annular space. In order to ensure that no liquid can leak out of the annular space even in the long term, the at least one flow guide rib is spaced-apart from the motor housing.

A high-pressure cleaning device has a housing which surrounds a motor pump unit which comprises a liquid-cooled electric motor and a pump. The pump has a suction inlet and a pressure outlet. Liquid, which is subsequently subjected to pressure by the pump, can be supplied to the electric motor for the purpose of cooling it. The electric motor is configured as a fan-less asynchronous motor and the motor pump unit is mounted via vibration-damping buffer elements.

High-pressure cleaning device

The invention relates to a motor-pump unit having an electric motor and a pump, the pump having a suction inlet and a pressure outlet, and the electric motor comprising a motor housing which is enclosed by a cooling housing, whereby a cavity is formed, it being possible for cooling liquid to be fed to the cavity via a cooling-housing inflow and to be conducted away therefrom via a cooling-housing outflow, and the cooling-housing outflow being in flow connection with the suction inlet. In order to develop the motor-pump unit such that, if required, a flow connection can easily be made from the cooling-housing inflow to the suction inlet via the cavity and the cooling-housing outflow, it is proposed that the motor-pump unit has a connecting device which is disposed laterally alongside the pump and has a first connection, which is connected in a releasable manner to the cooling-housing inflow via a first flow channel, and a second connection, which is connected in a releasable manner to the cooling-housing outflow via a second flow channel and is connected to the suction inlet.
