A fastening device for securing an appliance within a receiving frame in the interior of a motor vehicle. The receiving frame has a built-in opening into which the appliance can be introduced on an introductory plane along an installation direction and is locked releasably in an end position in the receiving frame. The fastening device has at least one latching hook. The latching hook is movable in the direction of a surface normal of the introductory plane and, in an end position, engages behind at least one retaining device such that the appliance is locked in the end position in the receiving frame against a movement counter to the installation direction.

Fastening device

A flap configuration has a flap for closing a receptacle and a closing slide guided displaceably parallel to the flap plane in the closing slide guide. The closing slide is inserted with one end into a latching opening in a wall and brought out of engagement with the latching opening by a closing slide drive against a spring force by way of a latch element guided in the latching opening. In an opposite receptacle wall from the latching opening, a guide opening is positioned coaxially with the latching opening and the closing slide guide. In the latching opening, a closing latch biased in the direction of the closing slide is guided, and engages, when the flap is latched in place, in an open end of the closing slide guide. The closing slide drive unlatches the flap.

Flap configuration

A support for an airbag housing of a motor vehicle, in particular for a knee airbag housing, has a support strut which is connected to the airbag housing. The support strut is mounted in a carrying frame of the vehicle by at least one elastic element. As a result of the mounting of the support strut by way of the elastic element, connecting elements, for example screws, can be dispensed with and noise generation is prevented.

Support for an airbag housing of a motor vehicle

A control panel configuration for a motor vehicle has a cross member that extends transversely to the vehicle longitudinal direction and is retained on fixed lateral construction structures. A control panel provides coverage toward the vehicle interior, and a knee retainer has a section for fastening the knee retainer to the cross member. A force absorption section extends essentially in the direction of the knee of an occupant. To reduce an intrusion of the control panel bottom parts, the knee retainer can be a rod-shaped support element that is loaded essentially longitudinally to its axis.

Control panel configuration for a motor vehicle

A supporting device supports a cockpit, in particular a control panel, on a central tunnel of a motor vehicle. The supporting device has an X-shaped configuration with two arms which carry the cockpit and two legs which are supported on the central tunnel. The tendency of the cockpit to vibrate is minimized precisely because the central tunnel is connected to the cockpit by the X-shaped support.
