A gripper for a handling assembly grasps an object. The gripper includes: a coupler for mounting to the object; and a base body mountable to the handling assembly. The base body includes: a housing; a clamping bracket at an outside of the housing; and a clamping mechanism in the housing, connected to the clamping bracket. The clamping bracket has latched and unlatched states. In the latched state, the clamping bracket is drawn close to the housing. In the unlatched state, the clamping bracket is pushed away from the housing to receive the coupler between the clamping bracket and the housing. The clamping mechanism is activated by pneumatic/hydraulic driving to force the clamping bracket to change from the latched to the unlatched state, and deactivated such that the clamping bracket returns to the latched state, thereby clamping the coupler to the housing.

Gripper for a manupulator

A positioning and clamping device or tools and/or workpieces, comprising a base body, a piston arranged such as to be displaceable in the base body, a pin which may be connected to the piston and at least one locking mechanism, for locking the positioning and clamping device relative to a tool or workpiece holder which has a complementary form to the base body. The base body has a cylinder housing for housing the piston with a clamping cone between the piston and the pin with control surfaces formed on the clamping cone and the piston, with further control surfaces on the locking mechanism, cooperating with the control surfaces of the clamping cone and the piston and the locking mechanism is arranged to be radially displaceable in the base body.

Positioning and clamping device for tools and/or workpieces

A device for holding workpieces in a releasable manner is proposed, comprising a mounting plate () with a clamping pin () for mounting a workpiece and an end plate () for connecting in a supporting manner to a machining apparatus for machining the workpiece, a hydraulically or pneumatically movable piston (), a ball sleeve () with balls (), which are arranged in such a way that they can be moved with respect to the clamping pin into the ball sleeve by the piston, and at least one spring () acting against the clamping force being provided between the mounting plate and the end plate as means which transmit the clamping force, and the mounting plate () having a centring region () which interacts with the clamping pin () and is designed in one piece and in an annular-disc shape.

Device for the detachable mounting of workpieces on machining devices

A coupling assembly for a machining tool is proposed that serves for mounting a work piece in a torsionally fixed manner. The work piece is received on a pallet that is located on a pallet support member. The pallet and the pallet support member are provided with cooperating means for exactly positioning the pallet on the pallet support member in the horizontal as well in the vertical plane.
