A semi-automatic lacing machine used to lace a pair of blocks together to form a block and tackle assembly that will frequently be used in the manufacture of other products. The apparatus includes a structure for receiving a pair of blocks and a line therein, and structure including a first and a second guide, and a threader to advance the line through the first and second guides and thereby through the blocks received within the apparatus.

Semi-automatic block and tackle lacing machine

Apparatus for conforming laminate to a radius edge. The apparatus includes a heat bar assembly including a heat plate extending longitudinally along the radius edge. A mechanism is attached to the assembly for applying uniform pressure to the laminate longitudinally along the radius edge for uniform heating of the laminate. The mechanism may include a plurality of selectively controllable cylinders spaced longitudinally within the heat bar assembly for pre-stressing at least a portion of the heat plate relative to the heat bar assembly. Additionally, the heat bar assembly may further include a cooling plate, where the heat bar assembly is rotatable along its longitudinal axis between a cooling and a heating position.

Laminate-forming apparatus

A spraying apparatus for spraying a particle-laden fluid upon a workpiece. The apparatus includes a spray compartment, spray gun means in the compartment, exhaust means for exhausting air-entrained particles, and means for flowing air past the spray gun means to prevent air-entrained particles from returning to the spary gun means. The exhaust means may include means for abruptly changing the direction of air entraining the sprayed particles from a direction generally toward the workpiece to be sprayed to a direction generally away from the workpiece, whereby the air-entrained particles are urged into contact with the workpiece.

Spraying apparatus

An angleworm storage box comprised of a pair of rigid, integrally formed rectangular frame members which are right angled in cross-section and are connected by a set of corner struts, also right angled in cross-section, and having latch members extending outwardly from their ends which are thrust through apertures defined by elastic materials in the corner portions of the two frames, the frames and struts being molded of rigid plastic material and the portions adjacent the aperture-defining portions being relieved to cause the aperture-defining portions to be more elastic in order to permit the relatively large end portions of the latch elements to pass therethrough and thereafter latch thereagainst to create a rigid, simple and inexpensive box framework. Foot members carried at each corner of the bottom frame are so designed as to nest with the cover member for the box. Simple, unique but highly effective latch means is carried entirely by the cover for the box. Fiberboard end, bottom and side panels are pressed into place in snug fitting relation within the framework and a cover panel covers a central opening within the cover.
