A shielding card holder system for providing a versatile protector and holder which shields wireless transmissions from a card such as a smartcard. The shielding card holder system generally includes a card protector adapted to shield wireless transmissions from a card such as a smartcard. A card holder is removably attached to the card protector, the card holder being adapted to removably receive cards of varying thicknesses. A protector magnet on the card protector is adapted to magnetically engage with a holder magnet on the card holder or the card holder itself to removably attach the card holder to the card protector. A securing member may be utilized to secure the card protector against an article of clothing, with the securing member including a securing magnet adapted to magnetically engage with the protector magnet through the clothing.

Shielding card holder system

A wireless device security system for preventing the unauthorized reading of wireless devices by a reader. The wireless device security system generally includes a device holder that is adapted to receive a wireless device for storage, access and removal. The device holder includes an interference tag that interferes with the wireless communications between the wireless device and a reader when the wireless device is positioned at least partially within the device holder. The device holder preferably includes a layer of shielding material adjacent to or near the wireless device during storage to further prevent unauthorized wireless communications with a reader.

Wireless device security system

A smartcard connector for connecting a smartcard within a card holder to an electronic device. The smartcard connector includes a card holder having a card holding space, a contact pad integral with the card holder and in communicative contact with the card holding space, and an external adapter integral with the card holder and in electrical contact with the contact pad. The adapter is for communicatively connecting a smartcard received and held within the card holding space and in electrical contact with the contact pad to an external data cable. The data cable is also connected to an electrical device, such as a computer, so that the smartcard may be accessed by the computer without removing the smartcard from the card holder. The card holder may also include a battery, display screen, read/write memory, security unit, notification unit, amplification unit, and/or a light.

Smartcard connector

A remote antenna security system for preventing unauthorized reading of RFID cards. The RFID remote antenna security system generally includes at least one remote contact in communication with a remote antenna. A carrier member is provided that includes at least one contact and a tag that is in communication with the at least one contact. When the contact of the carrier member is physically connected to the remote contact of the remote unit, the radio waves received by the remote antenna are communicated to the tag and the tag transmits radio waves including data from the remote antenna for reading by the reader.

RFID remote antenna security system

An RFID remote antenna security system for preventing unauthorized reading of RFID cards. The RFID remote antenna security system generally includes a remote unit that is attached to or near a conventional RFID reader. The remote unit includes at least one remote contact in communication with a remote antenna. A carrier member is provided that includes at least one contact and an RFID chip that is in communication with the at least one contact. When the contact of the carrier member is physically connected to the remote contact of the remote unit, the radio waves received by the remote antenna are communicated to the RFID chip and the RFID chip transmits radio waves including data from the remote antenna for reading by the RFID reader.

A moisture-responsive system for closing the windows or sunroof of a vehicle having one or more openings each closed by a power driven closure; the system having a moisture sensor for providing a moisture signal in response to the sensing of moisture; a circuit coupled to the closure and the moisture sensor for providing a signal to actuate the closure in response to the receipt of a moisture signal, the circuit including disabling features for safety purposes.
