The invention relates to an adsorption heat pump, having an adsorber device, comprising a solid adsorbent, an evaporator, a condenser or an evaporator/condenser and an operating medium in an operating circuit, wherein the operating circuit has a gaseous half-circuit between the evaporator, the adsorber device and the condenser or the evaporator/condenser and the adsorber device, in which gaseous half-circuit the operating medium is gaseous, and a liquid half-circuit which is configured between the evaporator and the condenser and in which the operating medium is liquid, wherein the liquid half-circuit contains a liquid functional medium which can be mixed with the operating medium and lowers the vapor pressure of the operating medium, with a vapor pressure at 25&#xb0; C. of below 0.2 mbar. In a method for operating an absorption heat pump with an operating circuit comprising an adsorber, an evaporator and a condenser or an evaporator/condenser and an operating medium which is circulated between the adsorber, the evaporator and the condenser, the operating medium is mixed, when running through the operating circuit, within the liquid half-circuit with a liquid functional medium which lowers the vapor pressure, and the operating medium is separated from the functional medium before the transfer into the gaseous half-circuit of the operating circuit.

Adsorption heat pump and method for operating an adsorption heat pump

The invention relates to a method for executing an alternating evaporation and condensation process of a working medium on a heat transfer surface provided simultaneously as an evaporation and condensation surface. The method is characterized in that, during a respective operating cycle from in each case an condensation process and in each case an evaporation process, a condensate film of the working medium which forms during the condensation process is stored permanently in situ on the heat transfer surface and is then evaporated from the heat transfer surface during the evaporation process. In terms of the apparatus, the heat transfer surface () is in the form of an in-situ store for a condensate film () of the working medium which covers the heat transfer surface and does not drip off and remains on the heat transfer surface during the condensation process and evaporates during the evaporation process.

Method and apparatus for executing an alternating evaporation and condensation process of a working medium

The invention relates to an adsorption module, consisting of at least one sorption unit and at least one evaporator/condenser unit, each with inlet and outlet ports for a fluid heat transfer medium, said units being in the same or separate vacuum-tight housings. According to the invention the housing is flat and can be joined to multiple flat housings in a stacked arrangement with a common steam duct.

Method for producing an adsorption heat exchanger

The invention relates to a compact sorption cooling unit, comprising at least one adsorber/desorber unit () having a heat exchanger and sorption material, at least one condenser heat exchanger (), and at least one evaporator heat exchanger (), wherein these building blocks are located in a common, vacuum-tight metal outer housing, and having connection and coupling elements and pipe ducts for the hydraulic interconnection and operation of the unit. Compact sorption cooling unit

The invention relates to a method for controlling the power of a sorption refrigeration system, comprising an adsorber unit, a condenser (C), and an evaporator (E) through which a cooling carrier fluid (KT) flows, with alternating application of the adsorber unit by a valve unit (HV_IN, HV_OUT) operated via a controller, having a circuit process of at least one sorption phase and at least one heat recovery phase, wherein a measurement of a current cooling carrier outlet temperature (T) is carried out in the return of the evaporator, a calculation of an averaged cooling carrier outlet temperature (T) is carried out during the first and second sorption phases with a comparison to the current cooling carrier outlet temperature (T), and a control signal is trigger upon completion of the sorption phase as a function of the difference between the averaged cooling carrier outlet temperature (T) and the current cooling carrier outlet temperature (T). The invention provides a corresponding device.

Method for controlling the power of a sorption refrigeration system and device therefor

A system and method for air-conditioning motor vehicles and, in particular, to an air-conditioning systems for motor vehicles having adsorption heat pumps. The apparatus includes a two adsorber chambers, each connected to a condenser and an evaporator via different connection elements; a vacuum shell for enclosing the adsorber chambers, the condenser, and the evaporator, wherein the vacuum shell is not self-supporting; and one or more adsorbers housed in the adsorber chambers, wherein the adsorbers are comprised of a carrier material coated by a sorbent. The method includes using an adsorption heat pump having one or more adsorber chambers, wherein adsorption and desorption are alternated between the adsorber chambers.
