A method and apparatus for injecting treatment fluids into the vascular systems of plants through the cut surfaces of plants instantaneously as the plants are being cut, which includes a supply unit for the treatment fluid which is connected to a fluid flow regulator which is turn is connected to a distributor through which the treatment fluid flows onto the cutting elements of a cutting implement thereby keeping the cutting elements continuously coated with a pool of the treatment fluid.

Cut surface injection system for plants

A device for controllably dispensing and volatilizing liquid by the user sucking or drawing on the device. An elongate tube defines a reservoir for liquid and air bounded by a solid and a porous plug, and an aperture for the flow of air that is positioned between said porous plug and the open end of the device. A mechanical means of controlling the surface area of said aperture is provided. Three preferred embodiments of said mechanical means include a pleated section with holes in the troughs of pleats, a rotating sleeve about an ovular slit, and a translating tubular insert into the open end of a device with an aperture consisting of a series of holes.

Aspirating and volatilizing liquid dispenser

Golf clubs, and a matched set of golf clubs, with each golf club having a hollow shaft with a head end and grip end. A resilient grip is fitted about the grip end of each shaft, and the grip has a butt end and a forward end and a midpoint therebetween. A clubhead is secured to the head end of each shaft. A frictionally-dissipative, vibration-damping counterweight (dash pot) is positioned within each hollow shaft (except for that of the 1-wood or driver) at the grip end thereof. The counterweight is at least substantially entirely contained between the midpoint and the butt end of the grip. The various counterweights are sized to position the center of gravity of each individual club a selected distance from the head end of the hollow shaft of the individual club, such that the selected distance does not decrease for successively shorter clubs in the matched set.

A dispenser comprising a container and a mouthpiece is adapted to deliver a volatilizable liquid orally to the user. A volatilizing chamber is defined between the liquid reservoir in the container and the drawing passage in the mouthpiece through which the user inhales. A permeable fluid barrier separates the liquid in the reservoir from the open pore material which fills the volatilizing chamber and limits the amount of liquid which can be aspirated through the open pore material to the user. A vent passage in parallel with the fluid barrier when uncovered and open allows air to be drawn through the open pore material to volatilize any liquid retained thereon. When covered and closed, the vent passage allows liquid to be aspirated from the reservoir through the permeable fluid barrier, the volatilizing chamber, and the mouth piece and into the user's mouth.

A liquid dispenser for supplying a treatment fluid to blades on a cutting implement used to cut plants which includes a distributor connected to a liquid supply unit of the treatment fluid which has a flow regulator to regulate the flow of the treatment fluid from the supply unit through the distributor and onto the cutting blades to keep the cutting blades coated with the treatment fluid.
