A charging plug for a charging cable for an electric vehicle is disclosed. The charging plug includes a charge indicator provided on the charging plug. The charge indicator is configured such that it indicates a charging progress. The charging plug is used, e.g., in connection with a charging station for an electric vehicle.

A method for operating a charging station for vehicles may include suppling the charging station with electric energy via a multiple phase supply system, providing, by the charging station, multiple phase lines for an electric power supply of vehicles, supplying a vehicle a charging current via a phase line, measuring at least one supply system voltage that is present on the phase line that supplies the vehicle with the charging current, comparing the measured at least one supply system voltage and a stored rated voltage range, and adjusting the charging current if the measured at least one supply system voltage is outside the stored rated voltage range.

Method for operating a charging station for vehicles

A method of operating a charging system may include connecting the charging system to a power grid with a plurality of phases, measuring a plurality of phase currents of the plurality of phases at a balance point, and transmitting a plurality of performance targets to a plurality of electrical consumers connected to one of a plurality of charging points of the charging system. The method may also include changing a performance target of the plurality of performance targets for each of the plurality of charging points individually for a predetermined test time interval and measuring a corresponding change of the plurality of phase currents at the balance point. The method may further include, based on the corresponding change of the plurality of phase currents, determining whether an electrical consumer charges with a significant current and whether the electrical consumer could charge with a higher current.

Method of operating a charging system with multiple charging points

A method for charging electric consumers at an electricity grid with multiple phases may include measuring a phase current of each of the multiple phases of the electricity grid at a balance point. The method may also include determining to which of the multiple phases each electric consumer of the electric consumers is connected for charging via the balance point. Additionally, the method may include holding an unbalanced load of the multiple phases below an unbalanced load threshold value via communicating a power specification to each electric consumer connected for charging.

Method for charging electric consumers

The invention relates to a hollow-stem valve for an internal combustion engine. The valve has a ratio of wall thickness to stem diameter of less than 1:3. The aim of the invention is to minimize the deformation of the valve head. To this end, the valve disk rests directly against the stem.
