Computer-implemented prospective planning of personnel costs for an enterprise includes conducting planning preparation to plan the personnel costs, electronically collecting data relating to personnel costs, electronically performing a cost planning run, electronically conducting a detailed analysis of the results to revise and modify the collected data to produce updated results, and reporting the results of the cost planning run.

Personnel cost planning

A software program assists in establishing goals and objectives and creating appraisals based on those goals and objectives. The goals for an organization are determined, and individual objectives based on the goals are defined. The software program assigns weights and compensation adjustment guidelines to the individual objectives, and obtains a plurality of appraisals based on the individual objectives. The scores from the appraisals are combined with the compensation adjustment guidelines, and a suggested compensation adjustment is automatically determined. Any of the individual objectives may also have a corresponding qualification component, and an individuals qualifications may be automatically revised based on the appraisal grades and the corresponding qualification component.

Appraisal and objectives integration

A software program assists in establishing goals and objectives and creating appraisals based on those goals and objectives. The goals for an organization are determined, and individual objectives based on the goals are defined. The software program assigns weights to the individual objectives, and obtaining a plurality of appraisals based on the individual objectives. A final appraisal is created by combining the plurality of appraisals based on the weight. The plurality of appraisals may be obtained using different appraisal types, including objective-setting, simple appraisal, and 360 degree feedback.

Appraisal processing

The subject mater herein relates to human resources data processing and, more particularly, to separation of employee data for different applications, such as personnel administration applications. Various embodiments provide systems, software, and methods that maintain a first set of employee data in an employee object, wherein the first set of employee data is valid across one or more other objects, and executing a process of a business object requiring at least a portion of the first set of employee data. In some embodiments, the business object obtains the portion of the first set of employee data from the employee object and maintains a second set of employee data that is not valid across all other objects.
