A single hand-held full body muscle building exercise apparatus, with a curved bar, that allows conventional disc shaped weights to be mounted on each end of the bar, with two handles located near the longitudinal center of the bar, that are adjustable, to allow for targeting specific muscle groups in the hands, arms, shoulders, chest, abdomen, back, buttocks, legs, ankles and feet. Each handle is adjustable to allow symmetrical and asymmetrical changes in gravitational load on each side of the user's body. The distance between each hand, and the rotational angles of the wrists, forearms, and shoulders can be changed while maintaining the center of gravity, of the weighted bar, about the center of gravity of the human body, during lower body and upper body exercises.

A therapeutic device for relieving pain and providing a curative healing effect includes a motor for rotating at least one magnet to generate a magnetic field, micro-vibrations and audible acoustic tones. A shaft couples the at least one magnet to the motor. In one embodiment, the at least one magnet is coupled to the shaft in an offset configuration with respect to a centerline of the shaft thereby generating micro-vibrations in the form of oscillating inertial loads. The therapeutic device includes a light source for generating a photonic light field in an optical light spectrum.

A device and method for monitoring a light beam (e.g., laser beam) without intruding upon the light beam is disclosed. The device comprises a focusing lens which receives scattered light from a reflective or transmitting optical element and directs the scattered light to a photo detector. The photo detector generates one or more electrical signals which are proportional to an intensity distribution of the light beam for analysis by a processor. The analyzed electrical signals are then used to adjust a light beam source accordingly. The device may further comprise a display and printer for visually depicting the light beam characteristics.

The method of optically integrating electromagnetic radiation comprises the steps of dissecting electromagnetic radiation into a plurality of segments of electromagnetic radiation, reflecting the resulting segments of electromagnetic radiation resulting in reflected segments of electromagnetic radiation and directing the reflected segments of electromagnetic radiation so that a reflected segment of electromagnetic radiation intersects another reflected segment of electromagnetic radiation at a target. The optical integrator comprises a plurality of reflecting surfaces for dissecting and reflecting electromagnetic radiation thereby resulting in a plurality of reflected segments of electromagnetic radiation, the reflecting surfaces being positioned so that a reflected segment of electromagnetic radiation intersects another reflected segment of electromagnetic radiation at a target.
