The invention relates to a method and a system for IP-based telephony and video conferencing between at least one IP node () and a second terminal (). According to said method, authentication data is transmitted from an identification module () of the IP nodes () and registration data is transmitted to a registration module (). The IP node () is authenticated using an authentication module () and a home location registry (). Corresponding location data is stored in the location database and is forwarded to the identification module () of the IP node (). Said IP node () is then released for IP based telephony or video telephony.

The invention provides the following advantage: with a single SIM card, the subscriber can be identified, for example, in a computer network, in an automatic TV payment system or in a permanent network in a financial institution or in a communication management system.

Method for broadcasting addressed data to a multiplicity of users via various broadcasting channels. The method includes setting up at least one information data base, which contains data that are intended to be transmitted through at least one of the broadcasting channels, the stored data from a multiplicity of information suppliers being transmitted through at least one communication channel into the information data base, storing of transmission criteria for each user or each user group, the transmission criteria including indications about the data from the information data base that have to be transmitted to each user or each user group, as well as an indication about the selected broadcasting channel, and automatic selection of the data to be transmitted according to the stored transmission criteria, and transmission of this data to the user or to the user group through the selected broadcasting channel.

Telecommunication method which enables a subscriber of a home mobile radio network (HPLMN) to connect to a visited mobile radio network (VPLMN, VPLMN&prime;) without a roaming agreement with the home mobile radio network (HPLMN) in that the subscriber is assigned a first mobile subscriber identification (IMSI ) from the number range of his home mobile radio network (HPLMN) and a second IMSI number (IMSI ) from the number range of a partner network (PPLMN), the partner network having additional roaming agreements, and a common call number (MSISDN) being allocated to the two said IMSI numbers (IMSI , IMSI ).
