A method of manufacturing a wound insulator pipe, in particular for a high voltage insulator, having one or more ducts for conductors of any kind is provided. A laminate structure is achieved by winding a material onto a spindle and impregnating with a resin. Initially first layers of the material to be wound are applied; then at least one groove is made in the surface obtained and then the winding is completed until the final diameter is attained.

Method of producing a wound insulating pipe

A device is provided for receiving a transmission signal and for transmitting an optical beam having an adjustable intensity, wherein the optical beam effects the transmission signal. A transmitter for transmitting the beam has a controller for setting the intensity. A receiver for receiving the transmission signal has an analyzer for outputting a threshold signal if the strength of the transmission signal exceeds a predetermined limit value. A pick-up outputs a start signal for starting the transmission signal. A control unit is connected to the analyzer, the pick-up and the controller. After reception of the start signal from the pick-up, the control unit sets the intensity at the controller to a value which rises continuously from essentially zero until the analyzer outputs the threshold signal, and then leaves the controller unchanged until reception of a new start signal. A method is also provided for using the device together with a measuring device configured as a transceiver, in an electrical power distribution network.

A method for producing a wound insulating conduit, in particular for a high-voltage insulator, with at least one empty channel for subsequent insertion of a conductor, e.g., an optical fiber. First layers of a material to be wound are applied first, then a molded body provided with at least one empty conduit is applied to a resulting surface and wrapped by additional layers. The molded body has lateral projections which extend over an entire length of the empty conduit and are designed so that they correspond to the surface to which it is secured.

A configuration includes a high voltage insulator, whose internal space accommodates optical waveguides and is filled with plastic foam, preferably a polyurethane foam.

Configuration for transmitting light between two locations at different

A measurement system uses optical of the energy for a sensor and analog optical transmission of the measuring signals of the sensor. A feedback control system sets the working point of the optical transmission system for the measuring signals. A zero measuring signal is provided to an electro-optical signal converter, which outputs a corresponding optical analog signal via a optical transmission line to an optoelectric signal converter. The optoelectric signal converter is adjusted to a predefined analysis signal setpoint when the electro-optical signal converter receives the zero measuring signal via a feedback control system. The manipulated variable of the feedback control system is the working-point current of the electro-optical signal converter, which converts the electrical measuring signals into optical signals. This feedback control system can be used to compensate for interference in the analog transmission. An additional feedback control system, which amplifies the analysis signals into output signals, is provided to correct the gain factor of an amplifier unit.
