A method for producing a composite pane, includes arranging a functional element in a recess of a thermoplastic frame film, arranging the thermoplastic frame film along with the functional element between a first glass pane and a second glass pane to form a layer stack, and subsequent joining of the layer stack by lamination to form a composite pane. The thermoplastic frame film and the functional element have a different thickness and the different thickness is at least partially compensated by at least one thermoplastic compensating film, whose thickness is less than twice as large as the difference between the thicknesses of the thermoplastic frame film and the functional element such that the maximum offset in the layer stack is less than the difference between the thicknesses of the thermoplastic frame film and the functional element.

Method for producing a composite pane with a functional element

A window () with an opaque coating () comprising a surface region () which has opaque surface portions () and which is perforated by surface portions () allowing light to pass through and distributed over the surface. At least one flat electroluminescent light element (EL) with several layers, including a transparent electrode (), is placed in at least some of the opaque surface portions () of the surface region (), which element, after applying an electrical supply voltage to the side of the transparent electrode (), radiates light through at least one of the faces of the window ().

In a composite pane having a film laminate which adhesively connects two rigid panes to one another to form a pane assembly and comprises at least one colored adhesive film and at least one uncolored adhesive film which can be fused on during production of the pane assembly, according to the invention, at least one intermediate layer is provided between the two differently colored fused-on adhesive films and results in a uniform flattening of the mutually facing surfaces of the two adhesive films while being fused on. This results in the finished product being homogeneously colored when being looked through.

The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a laminated glazing unit including of at least two transparent panes, one of which is provided on its surface facing the inside of the composite with a corrosion-protected transparent surface coating. The panes are joined together by layers of adhesive. The transparent surface coating is removed along at least one edge of the coated pane in a region between 0.1 mm and 5 mm from the peripheral edge of the pane in the direction of the main surface of the pane, and a protective layer impermeable to the diffusion of water vapor, covering the external boundary edge of the transparent surface coating, is applied along that edge of the coated pane from which the coating has been removed. The invention also relates to a laminated glazing unit with a corrosion-protected transparent surface coating.

An electrically heated automobile glazing has a surface coating (14) serving as resistance heater and a frame-shaped decorative layer (15) of an opaque bakable enamel. Frame-shaped decorative layer (15) consists of an electrically conductive bakable enamel and is in electrically conductive contact with surface coating (14). Current supply conductors (16) are made of thin strips of metal or metallic strips and are in electric contact with decorative layer (15). Surface coating (14) can be deposited between the surface of the glass and decorative layer (15) or between decorative layer (15) and current supply conductor (16).
