A sounder control system, including a converter circuit for converting a drive signal to a signal for activating a sounder and a drive circuit for generating the drive signal. The drive circuit includes a microprocessor for receiving at least one input signal representative of one of a plurality of control parameters for the sounder control system and for adjusting the drive signal on the basis of the at least one input signal, such that the sounder exhibits a predetermined sound pressure level characteristic.

Access authorization and/or drive authorization are granted if the control device receives a valid code. A display is arranged in the vehicle. The display displays specific data based on an output signal from the control device.

Device and method for reproducing information in a motor vehicle

A start/drive system for a vehicle includes a selector assembly having a drive/gear selector, a driver authority device, a security system and a lock. The lock provides an initial partial release and a subsequent complete release of the drive/gear selector. An initial movement of the selector triggers an authorization check in order to allow a further complete release of the selector.
