A method for attaching a test fixture to a surgical instrument comprising removing a valve member from a valve chamber of a surgical instrument and removing another valve member from another valve chamber of the surgical instrument. The method further comprises inserting a valve member analogue extending from a frame of a test figure into the valve chamber, wherein the valve member analogue comprises a first seal and a second seal, and wherein the first and second seals are configured to seal at least a portion of the valve chamber of the surgical instrument. The method further comprises inserting another valve member analogue extending from the frame, wherein the valve member analogue and the another valve member analogue define a longitudinal axis extending substantially therebetween. The method further comprises securing the test fixture to the surgical instrument by moving the housing substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis into a locked position.

Coupling arrangements and connectors for establishing a substantially fluid-tight removable connection between a fluid port in a medical device such as an endoscope. Various embodiments of the connectors may be coupled to a fluid conduit that may be attached to a decontamination or reprocessing device used to flow fluid through corresponding channels in the medical device during the decontamination process.

A decontamination system including a test fixture configured to engage an endoscope in order to retain the test fixture thereto, wherein the endoscope can comprise a valve chamber and a valve removable from the valve chamber such that the test fixture can be inserted therein. The test fixture can comprise, first, a frame having a first gripping portion and a valve member analog extending from the frame, and, second, a housing having a second gripping portion movable relative to the frame between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein the second gripping portion is configured to be moved toward the first gripping portion to position the housing in its unlocked position. The second gripping portion can be configured to be moved away from the first gripping portion to position the housing in its locked position such that the housing can engage a locking feature on the endoscope.

Coupling arrangements and connectors for establishing a substantially fluid-tight removable connection between a plurality of fluid ports or channels in a medical device such as, an endoscope. Various embodiments of the connectors may be coupled to a plurality of fluid conduits that may be attached to a decontamination or reprocessing device used to flow fluid through corresponding channels in the medical device during the decontamination process.

A method of connecting a belt clip attachment device to a personal electronic device such as a mobile phone includes providing a belt clip attachment device for connecting the mobile phone to a belt clip, the belt clip attachment device and the rear of the mobile phone constructed so that the belt clip attachment device connects to the rear side of the mobile phone through a push and twist action on the belt clip attachment device; and connecting the belt clip attachment device to the rear side of the mobile phone by pushing and twisting the belt clip attachment device relative to the rear side of the mobile phone.

A hair clipping device includes a housing, a bladeset engageable upon the housing and including at least one stationary blade and at least one moving blade configured for reciprocal movement relative to the at least one stationary blade. The stationary blade has a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge, the at least one moving blade including a first moving edge configured for reciprocal movement relative to the first cutting edge, and a second moving edge configured for reciprocal movement relative to the second cutting edge. The housing defines a cutting location for the blades and the bladeset is rotatably engageable on the housing between a first position in which the first edges are employed, and a second position in which the second edges are employed. The housing encloses an apparatus for creating a vacuum, and defines a vacuum intake.

A hair clipping device includes a housing, a blade chassis engageable upon the housing and having a bladeset including a stationary blade and at least one moving blade configured for reciprocal movement relative to the stationary blade. A comb assembly is configured for releasable attachment to the blade chassis and includes a comb base and a comb member. The comb member is selectively slidably adjustable relative to the comb base between a retracted position and an extended position. An adjustment mechanism is provided for selectively adjusting the comb member between the extended position and the retracted position, the adjustment mechanism having a handle and being configured so that movement of the handle will cause extension or retraction of the comb member relative to the comb base. In a hair clipping device, a housing encloses an apparatus for creating a vacuum, and has a vacuum inlet. A comb assembly is provided which is engageable on the housing and configured for deflecting hair clippings into the vacuum inlet.

A distributor for a coffee machine and a method for making coffee with options for selected quantity and types of coffee to be served are disclosed. The distributor has three fluid passages and operable between first and second positions. In the first position a first passage is adapted to receive a water and coffee mixture from a first hopper to be delivered to a first brewer or a second passage is adapted to receive a water and coffee mixture from a second hopper to be delivered to a second brewer. In the second position a third passage is adapted to receive a water and coffee mixture from either selected one of the first and second hoppers to be distributed substantial-equally to the first and second brewers. The invention provides a simple distribution system for the coffee machine with options for selected quantities and types of coffee. The invention also advantageously makes it possible to quickly serve a freshly brewed coffee with a selected quantity and type.

An above ground swimming pool is made up of a plurality of posts, wherein each post is a blow-molded unit having a base portion and a top portion with a coping seat. A plurality of coping members also blow-molded are each telescopically received one end to the other at the coping seat of the top of each post, and a one-piece fastener engages the overlapping telescopic ends of the coping members to the top of the post. A bracket is provided at the base of the post, the bracket having a rail for receiving track segments wherein an elongated flexible metal wall is inserted. The coping member retains the top of the flexible wall against the post.

A tool storage door for a floor care appliance encloses a tool storage compartment formed on the floor care appliance for storing various floor care accessory tools. The tool storage door receives and supports at least one of the accessory tools. A cutout area is formed in the tool storage door for providing direct and unobstructed visibility to the accessory tool and for allowing a portion of the accessory tool to extend therethrough. A recess which is substantially complementary to the shape of the accessory tool is formed in an underside of the tool storage door for receiving the accessory tool on the tool storage door. A pair of latching tabs extends downwardly from the underside of the tool storage door for releasably retaining the accessory tool within the recess.

A sport shoe having an upper, a sole having at least an outer sole having a mobile portion at least at the heel portion of the sole which is pivotable about a lateral axis forward of the heel portion. A midsole insert member is insertable between the mobile portion and the upper. The mobile portion includes upper engaging projections cooperating with the upper to prevent the midsole insert from moving laterally relative to the upper when the midsole insert member is introduced between the mobile portion and the upper.
