A drive-train of an agricultural machine, such as a tractor, has a power-split transmission () and a separate transfer case (). The transfer case () can be connected to a drive motor and the gear ratio of the transfer case () can be adapted in such manner that the power-split transmission () can be used for various drive powers.

Drive train for an agricultural machine

A planetary gearset () has a sun gear () connected rotationally fixedly to an input shaft (), a carrier () that carries planetary gears () and is connected rotationally fixedly to an output shaft (), and a ring gear () fixedly connected to a housing () that encloses the planetary gearset (). To reduce the noise emission from the planetary gearset with as little structural complexity as possible without reducing its efficiency due to pressure rings that are guided and slide against the planetary gears and the carrier, the sun gear (), the planetary gears () and the ring gear () are provided with helical teeth and the input shaft () is at least indirectly supported on the housing (), in both axial directions, by way of a single roller bearing ().

Planetary gearset

A continuously variable transmission device comprising a variator and a secondary power splitting. For power splitting, a planetary gear set has a first shaft coupled to the transmission input, a second shaft of the gear set coupled a first shaft of the variator, and a third shaft of the gear set couples a second shaft of the variator. First and second shift elements are provided to switch between first and second gear ratio ranges. Via the variator, the gear ratio is continuously variable within the gear ratio range and the two gear ratio ranges overlap. To implement the first gear ratio range, the second shaft of the gear set is connected, via the first shift element, to the transmission output, and to implement the second gear ratio range, the third shaft of the planetary gear set is connected, via the second shift element, to the transmission output.

A power-branched transmission for an agricultural vehicle is configured as a power-branched transmission having a secondary coupling. The transmission comprises a summation planetary gear set (), the planetary gear of which are configured as a double planetary gear ().
