A cabinet including a door, a fastener, and a latch bracket is provided. The fastener is extending at least partially through an aperture in the door. The latch bracket is located on an internal surface of a door frame to secure the door to the door frame. A retainer washer is disposed around the fastener and disposed between the latch bracket and the door in order to retain the fastener when in a disengaged position.

Systems and methods of one or more latch brackets

A ventilation system for an electrical equipment enclosure is provided. The ventilation system includes a first vent disposed at an interior of the enclosure; a second vent disposed at an exterior of the enclosure and located away from the first vent along an air flow path, which may be circuitous; at least one inner shutter held in an open position with respect to the first vent; and at least one outer shutter held in an open position with respect to the second vent; the at least one inner shutter and the at least one outer shutter each being configured to automatically transition from an open position to a closed position in response to air pressure increase.

A system including a door, a fastener, and a fastener retaining assembly is provided. The fastener is extending at least partially through an aperture in the door. The fastener retaining assembly includes a bracket and a retainer washer. The fastener retaining assembly is attached to the door and retains the fastener to the door. A drive control system comprising: a variable frequency drive cabinet comprising a variable frequency drive; a power supply line; at least one motor control cabinet having a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the at least one motor control cabinet is arc resistant, wherein the at least one motor control cabinet comprises: a medium voltage fused bypass controller in the top portion; a medium voltage non-fused transfer controller in the bottom portion; a reactor compartment, wherein the reactor compartment is arc resistant; wherein the variable frequency drive is coupled to the power supply line and the non-fused transfer controller, and the fused bypass controller is coupled to the power supply line.

Arc resistant drive with bypass and synch transfer

The systems and methods disclosed relate to arc resistant medium voltage motor control centers. A drive control system comprises a variable frequency drive cabinet comprising a variable frequency drive; a power supply line; and at least one motor control cabinet having a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the at least one motor control cabinet comprises: a medium voltage fused bypass controller in the bottom portion; a medium voltage non-fused transfer controller in the top portion; a first door disposed within the bottom portion; a second door disposed within the top portion; and an air vent, wherein the air vent is disposed in the first door, wherein the first door, the second door, and the air vent are arc resistant; wherein the variable frequency drive is coupled to the power supply line and the non-fused transfer controller and the fused bypass controller is coupled to the power supply line.

Arc resistant device and method

A door latching system provides an arc resistant door for a power electronics cabinet. The door latching system includes a six point latch to secure the door in place against the frame of the cabinet. The door latching system includes two vertical linkages coupled to a door handle mechanism, the door handle mechanism being able to impart a vertical motion to the vertical linkages as the handle is turned. The latching system allows for this vertical motion to then become horizontal motion for closing several latches between the vertical frame of the cabinet and the door.
