The invention relates to a vertical bagging machine (), equipped with a first linear motor () for displacing a transversal seal unit () in a first direction, preferably vertically (), and a second linear motor () for executing a displacement in a second direction, preferably horizontally (), in order to displace a heat-sealing jaw () in the latter direction or to cause two heat-sealing jaws () to be displaced against one another by means of a gear (). The linear motors () are interconnected () by means of a cross formation. Each linear motor () consists of a primary part () and a secondary part (). The cross formation () forms a stable connection for the linear motors () that act in displacement directions running perpendicularly to one another

Vertical bagging machine comprising two linear motors

To be able to weld different items, in particular films of different thickness and composition, in an optimized way in each case, it is proposed in the case of a welding jaw circulating along a closed path, for example a transverse welding jaw of a vertical tubular bag machine, to provide a sealing time factor (Kt) that can be set as desired within an open interval from zero to one and is equal to a quotient of a sealing time (ts) and a cycle time (tz) for a circulation of the welding jaw.

Method and apparatus for moving a welding jaw

In order to be able to easily exchange the fill pipe in a vertical tubular bagging machine, where a flat foil web is reshaped on a forming shoulder into a foil tube running over a fill pipe, a forming shoulder is suggested which can be opened. A shoulder sleeve out of two separate sleeve parts is formed by this forming shoulder, a shoulder connection consists of two separate connection parts, each one sleeve part and adjoining connection part form one component, the two components describe the forming shoulder, and one component can be removed from the other component in order to be able to remove the fill pipe transversely with respect to the transport direction from the forming shoulder.

Vertical tubular bagging machine

In order to be able to realize complicated jaw movements in a device for welding of a foil tube, comprising two welding jaws, which can be moved opposingly and clamp the foil tube between one another, whereby a linear motor is provided as the jaw drive, it is suggested that the gearing houses a cam plate connected to a movable part of the linear drive, that the cam plate has two separate curves, and that each one cam connected to a jaw carrier is guided along a curve.

Device for welding of a foil tube

In order to be able to remove in a vertical tubular bagging machine in a simple manner a worm-dosing means stored in a fill pipe, it is suggested that the fill pipe is formed out of two troughs aligned against one another with their insides, and that a trough is releasably connected to the other trough. One trough is in a preferred embodiment connected to the other trough via a swivel joint, and a fastening device is provided for locking the trough, which can be swung away, in a position supported by the other trough, so that the swingable trough can be swung away in order to remove the worm-dosing means laterally out of the opened fill pipe.

In order to realize in a device for welding of a foil tube, comprising two welding jaws, which can be moved against one another and clamp the foil tube between one another, a simple gearing, it is suggested that two rods are provided in the gearing, that each rod is connected on the one side through a joint provided on a movable part of a linear drive to the part movable transversely with respect to the direction of movement of the welding jaws, and that each rod is connected on the other side to a joint of a jaw carrier.

In order to achieve, in a device for welding of a foil tube comprising two welding jaws, which can be moved against one another and clamp the foil tube between one another, a relatively low building height of the device and a high welding force, it is suggested that a gearing has four rods, of which two inner rods are pivotally fastened through a stationary joint, and two outer rods are each connected through one joint to an inner rod and a further joint to a jaw carrier, and that a movable part of a linear drive is connected to the inner rods through a connecting member in order to pivot the inner rods and thus the jaw carriers away from one another or toward one another during a movement of the movable part along its active line.

A device for unfolding of folded boxes, comprising a magazine for receiving of flat folded-box sleeves, a removing device for the individual removal of the folded-box sleeves from the magazine and for feeding the folded-box sleeves to an unfolding station where the folded-box sleeves are partially unfolded along a compressing section. The unfolding device has after the compressing section a chute for the precisely fitting receipt of the partially unfolded folded-box sleeves, an output device to remove the folded-box sleeves from the chute, and an expansion chamber following the chute for receiving the fully unfolded folded-box sleeves in order to achieve a very high unfolding rate.

Device for unfolding of folded boxes

A tubular bagging machine in which expanding elements projecting away from the fill pipe are provided in order to create bags with welded edges. A separate longitudinal welding device for welding of an area adjacent to the edge of the tube is provided. It is thus possible to produce directly side-by-side a longitudinal seam and a welded edge. A bag-opening aid or a reclosing aid can be integrated into the longitudinal seam or the edge.

Tubular bagging machine

A device for removing flat articles, in particular blanks of collapsed boxes from a delivery station and for transferring them to a receiving station which has a transport device thereat. Plural suction arms each with suction devices thereon are provided, which suction arms move through a self-contained cycloidal path. The cycloidal path has several tips and curved segments lying therebetween. The delivery station and the receiving station are each arranged at a tip of the cycloidal path. A rotor is provided for moving the suction arms. A sun and planet gear arrangement is provided on the rotor, which sun and planet gear delineate the cycloidal path. The suction arms are aligned parallel to one another and preferably to the transport direction of the transport device in order to achieve in this manner a technically simple and reliable device.

Device for removing flat articles

Bags with welded edges are created by a vertical tubular bagging machine. The bags are flat on top and are relatively wide at the bottom. Only one edge-welding device to create a top seam is provided on one side of the fill pipe. Two edge-welding devices on the opposite side of the fill pipe are used to create two bottom seams stabilizing the bag.

A carrier ( ) with articles ( ) provided thereon is moved quickly toward a package ( ) and is slowed down at the package ( ) such that by utilizing the articles ( ) kinetic energy, they slide off the carrier ( ) and move into the package ( ). The carrier ( ) can thus be returned to an article receiving position during the feed-in process for the articles ( ) in order to receive new articles ( ), which can be, for example filled tubular bags.

Device and method for feeding an article or several articles into a package

A downwardly acting air-outlet nozzle (,) is provided in a device (,) for packaging between a funnel (,) and a fill pipe (,) for the purpose of producing an air stream and to thus enable filler to fall quicker through the fill pipe (,). In order to be able to determine and regulate the pressure (P) in the lower area of the foil tube, the pressure P is determined by means of a measuring device (,) and a measured-value indicator (,). The measuring device (,) can include a hollow pipe (,), which guides the pressure (P) to a measuring device (,). Tubular bags with a specific interior pressure can be manufactured with the device (,).

Packaging device

In order to be able to quickly and inexpensively feed articles, in particular bags, into spaces, for example insides of folding boxes of a continuously moving, transporting device, the speed of the transporting device is slower during a feed-in operation than the speed of the transporting device outside of the feed-in operation. A control device is provided in a device for feeding in the articles in order to control this change in speed.

Method and device for feeding of articles into a moving, rotating transporting device

In order to further accelerate a pourable product (,) falling into a fill pipe (,) or in order to compress the particle cluster of the product (,), it is suggested to blow air in timed intervals into the fill pipe (,). An air flap (,) is operated for this purpose in a pipe (,) between a blower (,) and the fill pipe (,) by means of a drive,.
