A radiation treatment system may include a gantry configured to rotate around an object, a treatment head moving with the gantry, a plurality of imaging radiation sources configured to emit imaging beams toward the object, and one or more first detectors configured to detect at least a portion of the imaging beams. When the treatment head is delivering a treatment beam to the object, the plurality of imaging radiation sources and the one or more first detectors may be positioned outside at least a portion of a maximum treatment radiation region so as not to interfere with the treatment beam. At least one of the plurality of imaging radiation sources and the one or more first detectors may be positioned at or near an edge of the maximum treatment radiation region.

The disclosure provides systems and methods for adjusting a multi-leaf collimator (MLC). The MLC includes a plurality of cross-layer leaf pairs, each cross-layer leaf pair of the plurality of cross-layer leaf pairs includes a first leaf located in a first layer of leaves and a second leaf opposingly located in a second layer of leaves. For at least one cross-layer leaf pair, an effective cross-layer leaf gap to be formed between the first leaf and the second leaf may be determined; at least one of the first leaf or the second leaf may be caused to move to form the effective cross-layer leaf gap; and an in-layer leaf gap may be caused, based on the effective cross-layer leaf gap, to be formed between the first leaf and an opposing first leaf in the first layer. A size of the in-layer leaf gap may be no less than a threshold.

Systems and methods for adjusting multi-leaf collimator

The present disclosure provides systems for controlling movement of a table supporting an object. The system may include: a first control sub-system configured to generate a first control instruction; a second control sub-system configured to generate a second control instruction; a table control sub-system operably coupled to the table; and a master controller configured to receive the first control instruction from the first control sub-system, or the second control instruction from the second control sub-system, generate a third control instruction based on the first control instruction or the second control instruction, and transmit the third control instruction to the table control sub-system. The table control sub-system may be configured to generate a control signal based on the third control instruction, and cause the table to move based on the control signal.

Control systems and methods

A system includes a remote control device configured to remotely control a device and a safety control device communicating with each other via a wireless connection. The remote control device includes a switch, a motion enable unit configured to generate processed information by processing information using a first secret, and a hand control unit capable of acquiring the processed information only when the switch is in a closed state and configured to transmit the processed information to the safety control device via the wireless connection. The safety control device includes a communication unit configured to receive the processed information via the wireless connection and a safety control unit configured to verify the closed state of the switch by processing the processed information using a second secret that matches the first secret and enable control of the device when the closed state of the switch is verified.

Systems and methods for device control

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for adjusting a multi-leaf collimator (MLC) in a treatment process according to a treatment plan or a portion thereof. The MLC may include at least one closed leaf pair in the treatment process. The method may include: for each of the at least one closed leaf pair, determining an offset for the closed leaf pair; and causing the at least one closed leaf pair to move based on the determined at least one offset before or during the treatment process.

A radiation treatment device may include a first dosimeter and a second dosimeter. Quantum efficiency of the first dosimeter may be lower than quantum efficiency of the second dosimeter. A method for monitoring beam energy may include receiving a first signal generated by a first dosimeter, receiving a second signal generated by a second dosimeter, receiving a third signal generated by the first dosimeter and receiving a fourth signal generated by the second dosimeter. The first signal and the second signal may be associated with a first radiation beam. The second signal and the fourth signal may be associated with a second radiation beam. The method may also include determining whether there is a difference between the beam energy of the first radiation beam and the second radiation beam based on at least one of the first signal, the second signal, the third signal or the fourth signal.

Devices and methods for measuring a radiation output rate and monitoring beam energy

Some aspects include a system, method, and computer-readable medium to divide a representation of a target volume into an array of sub-volumes; define a high dose volume to which a high dose of radiation is to be delivered; define a plurality of sampling volumes; direct an estimated dose of radiation to each sub-volume; determine whether the dose of radiation delivered to each high dose volume is at least a minimum threshold dose, and that the radiation delivered to the plurality of sampling volumes for each of the sub-volumes is at least a minimum difference less than the radiation delivered to the high dose volume; adjust the estimated dose of radiation directed to each sub-volume; and develop a radiation treatment plan, including the adjusted dose, to invoke a biological effect of spatially separated radiation.
