A wellbore servicing method comprising transporting a pump unit comprising a unit controller and pumping equipment to a wellsite. Executing a design process on the unit controller to determine a concentration of a wellbore treatment fluid at a wiper plug within an oilfield tubular. The design process utilizes a CFD model to generate a static mesh representative of the geometry of the oilfield tubular, locate the wiper plug within the static mesh, and determine a fluid velocity on each side of the wiper plug with flexible static mesh cells. The CFD model can generate a prediction of the concentration of the wellbore treatment fluids in response to the wiper plug reaching a target location within the oilfield tubular.

Slurry design process

Systems and methods related to preparing foamed cement for laboratory analysis are provided. A prepared cement slurry is placed in a cement reservoir cell configured to pressurize the cement slurry contained within the cement reservoir cell to a capture pressure. After pressurization, the cement slurry and a compressed gas are introduced into a foam generator. Foamed cement generated in the foam generator is introduced from the tee into a foam capture cell where it can cure prior to analysis.

Systems and methods for signaling the detection of a fluid change in a wellbore can be used during wellbore operations, such as cementing a casing in the wellbore. The systems and methods involve using burst discs to provide a pressure pulse that can be detected uphole and there by provide a signal related to when a fluid change has reached a predetermined position in the wellbore. The burst discs can be activated to prevent fluid flow in a portion of the wellbore by a sensor that detects a property that is different between two fluids. Once activated, the pressure of the fluid on the burst discs subsequently ruptures the burst disc and creates the pressure pulse.
