A modular pedestal sign or suspended sign is formed as a hollow border defined by upper, lower and opposite side hollow members collectively setting-off an inboard signage area. The upper and lower hollow members are preferably each formed by identically hollow bodies which are snap-secured together and each also defines a pair of projecting legs which are in internal telescopic relationship to the hollow side members. A polymeric/copolymeric synthetic thermoplastic foam material is in situ molded in intimate relationship to interior surfaces of the border to rigidify the assembled components, though snap fasteners may be utilized. Additional signage areas can be formed utilizing hollow divider members having oppositely directed pairs of legs.

A portable display case includes four panels with adjacent panels being connected by pivots defining substantially parallel axes. The panels are pivotable between a closed position in which the panels are in face-to-face contiguous opposing relationship and an open position. Two center panels include handle members pivotally connected thereto at upper edges and wheelable members connected thereto at lower edges. The handle members and the wheelable members include recesses and projections for registering with projections and recesses, respectively, of adjacent outermost panel members. The recess and projections facilitate the stacking of identical portable displays atop each other. The handle members and the base members pivot through 180&deg; for respectively latching and unlatching the panel members in their respective closed and open positions.

A wheeled container includes a one-piece molded polymeric/copolymeric container body defined by an elongated housing closed at a first end by a bottom wall ad having an opposite second end defining an opening. A one-piece molded polymeric/copolymeric cover is pivotally connected to a peripheral edge portion of the container body second end for pivotal movement between a first closed and a second open position respectively closing and opening the container second end opening. The cover has a handle projecting substantially radially away from a longitudinal axis of the housing, and a pair of relatively spaced wheels are located at the first end of the container at a side of the housing corresponding to a side from which the handle projects. Latches are disposed substantially diametrically opposite to the handle for retaining the cover in the closed position.

A portable display case includes two centermost and two outermost panel members mounted for pivotal movement relative to each other between panel face-to-panel face opposing relationship in substantially parallel planes in a closed position and in substantially side-by-side relationship in an open position. A carrying handle is mounted for reciprocal sliding movement relative to one of the panel members to permit the portable display case to be carried much in the manner in a briefcase or an attach&eacute; case. The outermost panels are each of an identical construction and the innermost or centermost panels are each of an identical construction providing interchangeability thereof. To the latter end, latches associated with side edges of the outermost panels are in asymmetrical relationship to each other. The centermost panel members also include recesses into each or both of which can be inserted a header in the closed position of the display case while upper edges of the centermost panel members have recesses or accommodating feet of the header in the display position.

A portable display includes a central display panel and opposite side tubular hollow end panels or columns constructed from a single sheet of substantially resilient elongated material. Each column is formed by rolling a side edge portion rearward bringing a tubular polygonal reinforcing member carried by each side edge portion into magnetically attracted sectirement with another hollow member. Hubs are inserted into the interior of the side columns to lend rigidity thereto, and two such displays or display sections can be stacked one relative to the other to transform a table-top display to a floor display. In this stacked configuration magnetically attractable securing elements hold the lower edge portion of an upper display section intimately relative to an upper edge portion of a lower display section. The resilient nature of the elongated panel(s) allows a variation in central panel configuration from generally uni-planar to concave or convex absent at any time an abrupt juncture at the display side thereof which presents a virtually unbroken aesthetic appearance to the overall display.

Display system

A portable display includes a center display panel and opposite side tubular end panels or columns. Each column has opposite side edge portions which carry tubular polygonal reinforcing members which in turn carry magnetically attractable strips which hold the columns in a tubular configuration with the side edge portions in overlapped relationship. A generally U-shaped member which is secured along an unexposed surface of each column secures each column to the central display panel. When the central display panel and the opposite end columns are made of the same material or covered with the same material, a line of demarcation between the columns and the central panel is essentially invisible which renders a virtually unbroken aesthetic appearance to the overall portable display.

A display system includes a display panel spanning first and second pairs of stacked hollow columns with each column being formed from a sheet of resilient material folded to bring opposite edges into contiguous relationship to each other. Clips and/or magnets are used to secure the contiguous edges to each other. Each edge of each column also includes a hollow tube which imparts rigidity thereto and diametrically opposite such tubes is a third tube. Pins are received in the aligned tubes of stacked columns to maintain the same in stacked relationship.
