A system for electronically capturing a subject's anatomy. Software programming directs the user to position the camera to recognize the anatomy. It uses anatomical features of the recognized subject's anatomy, patient data entered by the user and anthropometric data to estimate the optimal position of virtual markers. Furthermore, it places the virtual markers on an image presented to the user on the display screen at the estimated optimal position, while utilizing an auto-zoom and the virtual markers to zoom in to provide proper framing. The auto-zoom is utilized while maintaining a substantially fixed camera distance from the subject. The programming provides feedback based on the anatomical features for directing the user to move the camera appropriately relative to the virtual markers, thereby resulting in an optimized view of the anatomical information. The end-user software program captures the optimized view of the anatomical information via the camera to provide output data.

Measurement and ordering system for orthotic devices

A system and method are provided for electronically capturing a subject's anatomy comprising an electronic device with a camera, display screen, and end-user software program to interface with the user. The software program tracks a target placed in view area, and gives visual feedback to the user based on target tracking. The software program includes criteria represented visually, via audio feedback, or haptic feedback, to the user indicating how to position the camera relative to the anatomy. The end-user software program may have means to automatically capture anatomy on the electronic device based on the criteria being met. The end-user software program may include an auto-zoom, target distortion correction features, and/or other features such as the use of a virtual markers.

An electrostimulation system of the invention includes a signal generator, a docking assembly, and at least one transmission assembly. The signal generator is configured to produce at least one signal. The docking assembly includes a main housing; at least one mechanical retaining element operatively connected to the main housing that mechanically secures the signal generator to the docking assembly; and, at least one electrical docking element mechanically connected to the main housing that electrically connects the docking assembly to the signal generator. The at least one transmission assembly is adapted to fit on a portion of a user's anatomy, including at least one transmission assembly connection element (TACE) adapted to transmit a signal from the docking assembly to the user. The signal generator is electrically and mechanically detachably connected to the docking assembly during use.

A label sheet assembly is provided with bar code information thereon defining the layout of the labels on the backing sheet. A versatile label dispenser apparatus advances the label sheets and deflects them over a peeling bar in one direction to partially separate the labels from the backing sheet; with the advancing action being determined by the bar code information. The label sheet assemblies are then deflected in the opposite direction, and are routed in a substantially flat condition to the output of the dispenser apparatus. The labels are partially dispensed, substantially vertically from the dispenser, and a substantial number of sensors are provided to sense when all of the labels have been removed; and then the dispenser advances the label sheet assembly to partially dispense the next row of labels. The bar code reader may also sense the leading edge of the label sheet assembly to accurately control the incremental advancing of the label sheet assembly.

A system and method for performing multiple modes of electro-therapy with a portable electro-therapy device are disclosed. Preferably, the modes include an interferential mode, a pre-modulated interferential mode, a neuromuscular mode and a high volt pulse current mode. Additional protocols may be defined by combining or varying modes. The electro-therapy device uses a microprocessor to generate and control output signals. The microprocessor is contained within the housing of the electro-therapy device. The device includes a display and at least one keypad. The device also includes an electrode jack for attaching at least one pair of electrodes for outputting signals to a patient.
