The present invention is directed to a door panel preferably for a sliding door assembly. The door panel includes an inner frame and a sheet stock substantially covering the inner frame. The inner frame includes a geometry that cooperates with a geometry of a door accessory for operable connection of the door accessory directly to the inner frame.

Door assembly and method of making same (stainless steel sliding door)

The present invention is directed to an industrial high-speed door assembly having a reduced door panel width and having guides for guiding the door which extend into a passageway but are resilient, tough, or resiliently collapsible, to either withstand impacts from vehicle collisions or moveable during opening of the door to avoid collisions while returning for guidance upon closing the door.

High speed door assembly

A door seal for use with a bi-parting door in which the door panels of the door have supplementary angled leading edges. One leading edge has a triangular cross-section, while the other has a cross-section similar to a parallelogram. To further the reliability of the door seal, a plurality of magnets with corresponding magnet attracting plates may be attached along the leading edges. Alternatively, both leading edges may have at least one magnet aligned with a magnet on the other edge. With the double magnet configuration, the use of multi-pole magnets is necessary. The magnets also help reduce the bounce between the door panels, which may be closed roughly, and increase the force required to separate the door panels when closed.

Seal for a bi-parting door

A roll-up overhead door assembly which is selectively moved up and down to open and close an opening and which is guided along sides of the opening by columns, the door having an open position, a closed position and a cleaning position. The door includes a drum positioned proximate the top of the opening, a flexible door panel connected to the drum and a drip guard. The door panel is attached to the drum such that when the door assembly is in an open position the door panel is wound around the drum. The drip guard partially surrounds the drum and is positioned and sized to catch residue falling from the drum or door panel overhead. The door panel is sized such that in the closed position the door panel is connected to a point on the drum so that the panel does not significantly overlap the drum. The door further includes columns on opposed sides of the opening and surrounding the guides. Each column comprises a backplate and, respectively, a cover plate removably attached to each backplate wherein one of either the backplate or the cover plate has side wall. The door assembly further includes a drainage trough for collecting moisture falling from the door. The drainage trough has a first end and a second end and is attached to a bottom edge of the door panel, and is configured such that drainage flows toward at least one end of the trough.

Roll-up overhead door for sanitary applications

A roll-up overhead door assembly which is selectively moved up and down to open and close an opening and which is guided along sides of the opening by columns, the door having an open position, a closed position and a cleaning position. The door includes a drum positioned proximate the top of the opening. The door panel is attached to the drum such that when the door assembly is in an open position the door panel is wound around the drum. The drip guard partially surrounds the drum and is positioned and sized to catch residue falling from the drum or door panel overhead. The door panel is sized such that in the closed position the door panel is connected to a point on the drum so that the panel does not significantly overlap the drum.

A frost control system for preventing the accumulation of frost on components of a freezer door assembly is disclosed. The system comprises a movable door disposed between a cold space and a warm space, and a header assembly. The header assembly comprises an air mover and an air inlet adapted for drawing air from the cold space to an inlet of the air mover. A conduit is provided for conducting air from an outlet of the air mover to a region of the warm space proximate to the door, and a thermostatically-controlled heater is disposed within the conduit. The conduit includes a heated air exhaust vent. Also provided is control circuitry for managing the operation of the heater and air mover.

Frost control system for a door

A door assembly comprising a non-rigid door panel which is selectively moved to open and close an opening, the opening having a perimeter defined by opposed first and second sides, a top and a bottom. The door panel includes a first frame member positioned proximate and extending along at least a portion of the perimeter of the opening and a second frame member spaced apart from and co-aligned with the first frame member to define a through-way for passage of a margin of the door panel therethrough. At least a portion of at least one of either the first frame member or the second frame member includes a movable member that pushes the door panel toward at least a portion of the other of the first or second frame members when the door panel is in the through-way thereby sealing the margin of the door.

Overhead rigid-panel door

Apparatus for separably connecting a movable barrier to a means for guiding the barrier is disclosed. The connection separates upon a transbarrier impact in excess of a predetermined magnitude. To this end a lateral connecting member (22) extends between the barrier (12) and the guide means (18) and includes opposed first and second ends (22a and 22b). The first end (22a) being attached to the guide 18 and the second end 22b has opposed upper and lower surfaces 46, 48 arcuate portions 46a, 46b, 48a and 48b. A receptacle 24 is attached to the movable barrier 12 and is adapted to receive the second end 22b of the lateral connecting member 22. The receptacle 24 has facing upper and lower inner surfaces 42, 44. The lateral connecting member 22 and the receptacle 24 are cooperatively dimensioned so that, over a predetermined range of rotation of the receptacle 24, a greatest distance between any point on the upper outer surface 46 and any point on the lower outer surface 48 of the second end of the lateral connecting member 22b is no greater than a smallest distance between any point on the upper inner surface 44 and any point on the lower inner surface 42 of the receptacle 24.
