Disclosed is a compressor comprising a rotating assembly, which comprises a compressor wheel and a rotor of an electric motor, a stator of the electric motor, a bearing for the rotating assembly, a support that supports the bearing, and a cooling channel for purposes of cooling the electric motor. In accordance with this disclosure, a section of the cooling channel is arranged in the support.

This disclosure relates to an arrangementfor variably adjusting the cross-section of a compressor inlet. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a charging device having such an arrangement. The arrangementcomprises a compressor housingwith a main bodyand an inlet cover. The inlet coverdefines a compressor inlet. The arrangementfurther comprises an adjustment mechanismwhich is arranged in the compressor housing. The adjustment mechanismcomprises an actuation ringand a plurality of orifice elements. Each orifice elementis coupled to the actuation ringvia a respective coupling elementand is rotatably supported in the compressor housingvia a respective shaft. Furthermore, the arrangementcomprises at least one wear reducing feature providing a wear reduced operation of the adjustment mechanism

Compressor inlet arrangement

This invention relates to a compressorfor a supercharger. The compressorcomprises a compressor housingwith a compressor inletand a compressor outlet. The compressorfurthermore comprises an adjustment mechanismand an actuator device. The adjustment mechanismcomprises an adjustment ringand a plurality of shutter elementsfor changing an inlet cross sectionof the compressor inlet. The actuator devicecomprises a drive unitand a coupling unit. The actuator deviceis thus coupled, via the coupling unit, to the adjustment mechanismin order to move the adjustment mechanismbetween a first position and a second position.

Compressor having an adjustment mechanism

A compressor with a compressor housing in which a compressor wheel is arranged. The compressor additionally includes a cartridge which is arranged in the compressor housing in the area of a compressor inlet. The cartridge is designed to variably change the cross section of the compressor inlet.
