A fuel injector for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, having a valve needle which works together with a valve seat face to form a sealing seat, has an armature acting on the valve needle. The armature is movably guided on the valve needle and is damped by an elastomer ring made of an elastomer. The armature has at least one fuel channel for supplying fuel to the sealing seat. A flat supporting ring which axially supports the elastomer ring in the area of the outlet end of the fuel channel is arranged between the elastomer ring and the armature.

Fuel injector

A solenoid including a substantially cylindrical hollow bobbin made of an insulating material is provided, which is mountable on a housing body and is provided with at least two relay connectors anchored in an end area of the bobbin and projecting axially therefrom, and the solenoid is also coupled to a contact element. The solenoid and the contact element are two separate components which are connectable to each other by a connecting part of the contact element attachable to the housing body, by a suitable securing method, e.g., by soldering or welding.

A fuel injector for the direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having external ignition, includes a valve housing formed from a nozzle body, and a sealing ring which seals the fuel injector from a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine. In the mounted state, a radial extension of a stamping sleeve that is disposed on the intake side of the sealing ring acts upon the sealing ring in such a way that the axial extension of the sealing ring is reduced in favor of the radial extension of the sealing ring relative to the unstrained state of the sealing ring.

Two-part solenoid and method for the production thereof

A fuel injector for the direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having external ignition includes a valve housing formed by a nozzle body, and a first sealing ring which seals the fuel injector against a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine. The first sealing ring tapers conically at a radially outer side in a flow direction of the fuel and cooperates with a second sealing ring, which tapers conically at a radially inner side counter to the flow direction of the fuel.

An assembling device for assembling and disassembling a fuel injector in a mounting hole of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine has a jacket body at least partially surrounding the fuel injector. A contact section, on which both a hold-down force for holding down the fuel injector in the mounting hole and a disassembling force for disassembling the fuel injector can be exerted on the fuel injector, and a collar section protruding from the mounting hole are formed on the jacket body. The collar section has at least one thread, in which a disassembling screw can be screwed in so that when the disassembling screw is tightened it abuts on the cylinder head and transmits a disassembling force on the collar section so that the assembling device ( ) with the fuel injector ( ) inserted into the assembling device ( ) is extracted.

Assembly device for assembling and dismantling a fuel injection valve

The gas distributor apparatus has a common gas-supply line for supplying gas to a plurality of devices, e.g., arranged in series, the gas-supply line representing a substructure with an inner supply orifice and connecting pieces, which conform in number to the devices for injecting a fuel-gas mixture, and which extend in a normal direction starting from the gas-supply line and contain branched-off ports that communicate directly with the supply orifice. A permanent connection is established between the gas distributor apparatus and the devices in that gas-intake ducts are configured on the gas-containing bodies at least partially surrounding the devices, the gas-intake ducts having functional elements and projecting with these elements into the connecting pieces of the gas distributor apparatus. The gas is made available simultaneously for all devices in the supply orifice and then flows in each case via one connecting piece to a device. Thus, the gas distributor device represents a very compact assembly, which is very simple to assemble and disassemble. The gas distributor device is especially suited for fuel-injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines having externally supplied ignition.

An assembling device for assembling and disassembling of a fuel injector ( ) in a mounting hole ( ) of a cylinder head in an internal combustion engine has at least two contact surfaces engaging in the fuel injector. A hold-down surface is formed on each elastic contact element to transmit a hold-down force to the fuel injector and a locking recess in which a locking projection of the fuel injector engages to transmit a disassembling force to the fuel injector.

An attachment of a fuel injection valve is formed at least from the main body and the insert which bound the gas supply passages between them and direct the gas in a metered and targeted manner onto the sprayed fuel. The attachment makes it possible to separate the functions of gas supply and metering from those of sealing the fuel injection valve against an induction conduit and fastening the attachment on the fuel injection valve. Furthermore, the design configuration results in a large number of variants which can be achieved by very simple and low-cost exchangeability of parts by virtue of the modularity of the system. The fuel injection valve is particularly suitable for fuel injection systems of mixture compressing internal combustion engines with external ignition supply.

In a fuel injection valve, the direct attachment of a protective sleeve to the valve housing has the effect that breathing of the inside of the valve can take place without spray water or other fluids penetrating into the inside of the valve (coil space). The fluid is, rather, held in a space with many passages. Corrosion on the contact pins or on the coil wire is, therefore, ruled out. The fuel injection valve is particularly suitable for use in fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.

Electromagnetically actuated fuel injection valve

An electromagnetically actuatable injection valves which tear away the fuel stream emerging from at least one injection port and atomize it as finely as possible. One possibility is to force a high velocity component in the radial direction upon the fuel prior to its leaving the injection valve; this is achieved with swirl generators. The novel injection valve has a valve seat face, which in a swirl segment outside a sealing face, is provided with four swirl conduits, which discharge into an injection conduit and terminal port with a lateral offset relative to a longitudinal valve axis. The novel injection valve is especially suitable as an injection valve for fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.
