An actuator for a medical device includes a housing, a driving unit mounted in the housing, a first moving unit slidably mounted in the housing and movable by the driving unit. The first moving unit includes a movable first car, an spring with two ends thereof abutting the housing and first car, respectively, and a lock formed between the driving unit and first car. The lock includes a first snap and a first protrusion detachably engagable with the first snap. One of the first snap and first protrusion is formed on the first car, and the other is formed on the driving unit. When the first protrusion disengages from the first snap, the spring moves the first car relative to the housing.

Actuator of medical device

A drive mechanism for a medication delivery device includes a motor, a housing, a gear cover, a gear transmission system, a helical transmission system, and a sensor system. The helical transmission system includes a plug, a screw shaft, and a sliding block connecting the plug to the screw shaft. The gear transmission system includes a first gear disposed on an output shaft of the motor and a second gear disposed on one end of the screw shaft. Dual gears interconnect the first and second gears. The motor drives the plug along a linear path by rotating the screw shaft via the gear transmission system, causing the sliding block to move along the screw shaft. The sensor system monitors the driving process. The plug provides the force required to effect the dosing of the medication.

Drive mechanism

A motor assembly for use in a surgical tool, has a motor and a gear train. The gear train has an output shaft, a fixed ring gear, a movable ring gear, a cover, and a multi-stage planetary gear set. Each gear stage has a sun gear, a carrier, and planet gears mounted on one side of the carrier. The planet gears are in mesh with a sun gear and either the fixed ring gear or the movable ring gear. The movable ring gear has inner teeth formed on an inner peripheral surface and one of the carriers has outer teeth formed on an outer peripheral surface. The movable ring gear is movable between a first position where the movable ring gear is engaged with and non-rotatable relative to the cover and is disengaged from said one carrier, giving the gear train a higher gear reduction ratio, and a second position where the movable ring gear is disengaged from the cover and is engaged with and rotatable with said one carrier and the planet gears adjacent to the other side of said one carrier giving the gear train a lower gear reduction ratio.

Motor assembly for medical equipment

A lifter assembly for actuating a needle of an automatic medication delivery device, includes a motor, a speed reduction device driven by the motor, an output shaft driven by the speed reduction device via a rigid transmission device, a driving lever configured to move the needle, the driving lever being connected to and driven by the output shaft, and a sensing device configured to sense the rotation position of the output shaft. The speed reduction device comprises a worm in mesh with a worm gear. The output shaft, the worm gear and the rigid transmission device cooperatively constitute a four-bar linkage mechanism.
