A knob device is applicable to a touch panel. The knob device includes a knob cover, a plurality of sensing pads and a rotation sensing element. The plurality of sensing pads are fixedly arranged on the touch panel. A gap is form between two sensing pads. The plurality of sensing pads and gaps are distributed in a ring area around a center of an orthographic projection of the knob cover. The rotation sensing element is connected to the knob cover. When the knob cover is turned to be rotated, the rotation sensing element is rotated synchronously. When a user touches the knob device and the rotation sensing element overlaps one of the plurality of sensing pads, the touch panel generates a rotation sensing signal in response to a location of the rotation sensing element.

Knob device applicable to touch panel

A touch panel includes a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer has transmitting electrodes arranged in transmitting channels and traces respectively coupled to the transmitting channels. The second electrode layer has receiving electrodes arranged in receiving channels. At least one of the traces, the transmitting channels and one of the receiving channels in proximity of the traces form touch detection blocks that respectively correspond to the transmitting channels. For each touch detection block, in a circle area overlapped with at least one of the traces and substantially in the touch detection block corresponding to one of the transmitting channels, a summation of areas of the corresponded transmitting channel and the trace coupled to the corresponded transmitting channel is substantially larger than a summation of areas of the other transmitting channels and the other traces.

Touch panel and touch display apparatus

A knob device is applicable to a touch panel. The knob device includes a knob cover; and a rotation sensing element. The rotation sensing element includes a base and a plurality of sensing pads connected to the knob cover. The rotation sensing element is arranged between the touch panel and the knob cover. The base is connected to the knob cover. When a user touches the knob device, the touch panel generates a rotation sensing signal in response to a location of the plurality of sensing pads. An orthographic projection of the knob cover on the touch panel is divided into a plurality of parts, the plurality of parts are distributed radially from a center of the orthographic projection of the knob cover, each sensing pad is located in a part and connected to another sensing pad located in another part adjacent to the part.

A knob device is applicable to a touch panel. The touch panel includes a plurality of panel sensors. The knob device includes a knob cover, a sensing pad, a compensation sensor and a switch. The sensing pad is arranged between the knob cover and the touch panel. The switch is configured to selectively connect the sensing pad to the compensation sensor. When a move event of the knob device occurs, the switch is turned on and the sensing pad is electrically connected to the compensate sensor through the switch, such that a feedback loop is generated by the sensing pad, the compensation sensor and the touch panel to change a quantity of electric charge of at least one of the plurality of panel sensors. When a touch and rotation event of the knob device occurs, a location of the sensing pad controls a rotation sensing signal.

A sensing unit in the touch panel includes a first electrode formed in a first film and a second electrode formed in a second film. The first electrode includes multiple extending portions and at least one connecting portion. The extending portions extend along a first direction. The connecting portion extends along a second direction which is different from the first direction. The extending portions are spaced from each other by a distance along the second direction, and the connecting portion connects the extending portions. The second electrode includes a circular pad having an opening. The extending portions at least partially overlap with the circular pad, and the connecting portion is formed in an area overlapping with the opening.

Touch panel and electrical device

A method for improving touch performance of a capacitive touch screen with a non-rectangular shape is provided. The capacitive touch screen includes plural complete cells and at least one incomplete cell for sensing. The method includes: determining whether an active area of the incomplete cell is different from an active area of each of the complete cells; and performing a mutual capacitance compensation on the incomplete cell to compensate a mutual capacitance of the incomplete cell when the active area of the incomplete cell is different from the active area of each of the complete cells.

Method for improving touch performance of capacitive touch screen with non-rectangular shape

A reflected-capacitive touch panel of a wearable electronic device includes a center touch sensing portion composed of a plurality of mutual-capacitance sensors; a border touch sensing portion composed of a plurality of hybrid self-capacitance and mutual-capacitance sensors; and a predetermined bonding area into which channels of the center touch sensing portion and the border touch sensing portion are routed.

Wearable electronic device and a reflected-capacitive touch panel thereof

A touch sensor device provided herein includes a sensor pad disposed on a carrier, wherein the sensor pad includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a third electrode and a grounding electrode. The first electrode surrounds a periphery of the second electrode and a first gap is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode surrounds a periphery of the third electrode, and a second gap is formed between the first electrode and the third electrode. The grounding electrode surrounds a periphery of the pad sensor, wherein a third gap is formed between the first electrode and the grounding electrode.

Touch sensor device

A touch display panel, including first electrode patterns, second electrode patterns, active elements, third electrode patterns and fourth electrode patterns is provided. The second electrode patterns and the first electrode pattern are set to form pixel areas. Each of the active elements is disposed in one of the pixel areas and electrically connected to the corresponding first electrode pattern and second electrode pattern. The third electrode patterns are arranged along a direction of an arrangement direction of the second electrode patterns and divide the second electrode patterns into groups, wherein each third pattern covers columns of the pixel areas. The fourth electrode patterns are electrically insulated to the third electrode patterns. Each fourth electrode pattern is disposed in one of the pixel areas and electrically connected to the corresponding active element. A driving method of a touch display panel is also provided.

Touch display panel and driving method thereof

A shift register including shift register units substantially cascaded is disclosed. Each shift register unit is controlled by first and second clock signals opposite to each other for generating an output signal. Each shift register unit includes first and second switch devices and first and second devices. The first switch device provides the output signal through an output node. The first driving device drives the first switch device according to a first input signal to activate the output signal. The second driving device provides a first voltage signal, according to the first clock signal, to drive the first switch device and de-activate the output signal. When the first switch device de-activates the output signal, the second switch device provides the second voltage signal to the output node according to the second clock signal. A level of the first voltage signal is lower than a level of the second voltage signal.
