An LED lamp is configured to be connected to a leakage protection switch. The LED lamp includes one or more light emitting diodes, a control circuit, a light board and an enclosure. The control circuit is configured to be coupled to the leakage protection switch by a hot connector and a neutral connector. The light board is a printed circuit board that includes a track that surrounds a light module. A branch of the hot connector is directly coupled to the track and the light module is coupled to the control circuit by a hot line and a neutral line. The enclosure supports the control circuit and the light board. When water contacts the track, at least a portion of a current flowing through the hot connector enters a ground conductor, thereby causing the leakage protection switch to electrically disconnect the LED lamp from a power supply.

Lamps having current leakage protection, systems and methods of use

A lens and strobe light system are provided. The lens can include a base defining a cavity configured to accept one or more light sources. The lens can further include one or more lens segments disposed on the base. The one or more lens segments can be configured to direct light emitted from the one or more light sources out from the lens. The strobe light system can include a plurality of light sources, a plurality of lenses disposed on the plurality of light sources, and a controller configured to control the operation of the plurality of light sources. The plurality of lenses can be configured to direct light emitted from the plurality of light sources out from the strobe light system.

Multiple LEDs connected in series are driven by DC voltage that is provided by a diode rectifier connected to a three-phase power source. In order to reduce ripple in the DC voltage, the series-connected LEDs can be divided into a first set and a second set, and a first constant current source is provided that drives the first set, and a second constant current source is provided that drives the second set. The first and second constant current sources are both connected across the outputs of the rectifier circuit, and operate to drive the respective sets of light emitting diodes in alternation. The capability for dimming can be provided, as well as back-up single phase operation. The light emitting diodes can be situated remote from said rectifier and connected thereto by a single phase power transmission system, formed by only two wires.

Method and arrangement for remotely driving light emitting diodes from a three-phase power source via a single phase cable system

Multiple LEDs connected in series are driven by DC voltage that is provided by a diode rectifier, the diode rectifier being connected to a three-phase power source and converting the three-phase currents from the three-phase power source into the DC voltage that is used to drive the light emitting diodes. In order to reduce ripple in the DC voltage, the series-connected light emitting diodes can be divided into a first set and a second set, and a first constant current source is provided that drives the first set, and a second constant current source is provided that drives the second set. An LED array switching apparatus comprises, on a single PCB substrate: a plurality of LED arrays Dto Dn connected in series, each LED array having a forward voltage; an AC voltage supply coupled to the plurality of LED arrays; and a plurality of constant current sources Gto Gn, coupled to outputs of LED arrays Dto Dn, respectively, each of the constant current sources being switchable between a current regulating state and an open state such that as the voltage of the AC voltage supply increases, LED arrays are switched on and lit to form a higher forward voltage LED string, and as the voltage of the AC voltage supply decreases, LED arrays are switched off and removed from the LED string starting with the most recently lit LED array.

A lens for an LED street lamp has an external curved surface that has a concave surface portion on one side thereof. A back surface of the lens has a micro-prism array and retainer feet. A recess in the back surface receives an LED light source. The outer surface of the lens has facets or windows that provide overlapping projections of light from adjacent facets.
