Techniques for generating a workflow model are described. In an example, a device presents a window. A selection of an icon presented in the window is received, where the icon corresponds to a node having a node type. Based on rule, the device determines a location where the icon can be added to a workflow. The rule indicates the location based on the node type and a workflow model. The user device presents, in the window, an indicator of the location, receives a placement of the node at the location, and presents, the icon at the location indicating that the node is added to the workflow. The device updates the workflow model to include, based on the placement, a reference to executable code that corresponds to the node, and to include, based on the location, information about an execution sequence of executable codes referenced in the workflow model.

Approaches to generating photogrammetry data are provided. In some implementations, a capture device captures a sequence of images of a physical environment while device poses of the capture device are tracked as the capture device moves around the physical environment. For each of image of images in the sequence of images, a corresponding device pose is stored as metadata of the image. Using photogrammetry, a three-dimensional (3D) model of the physical environment is generated from the images, where the photogrammetry uses for each image of the images, the corresponding device pose from the metadata of the image to generate the 3D model. In further respects, a user feedback loop can be used to direct a user to move the capture device to particular device poses for the capture of the images. Further camera properties used to capture an image may be stored in its metadata and used by the photogrammetry.

One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing a traffic news interface. For example, a traffic news provider component may query traffic camera data and/or traffic incident data to identify traffic cameras and/or traffic incidents along a route of a driver. The traffic cameras and/or the traffic incidents may be ranked based upon a safety metric, a travel time sensitivity metric, an alternative route selection metric, a driving behavior pattern, a driver mood, a distance of a traffic camera or traffic incident from a current user location, and/or other information used to determine how relevant information from the traffic camera and/or a traffic incident is to this particular driver. A subset of traffic cameras and/or traffic incidents may be selected for inclusion within a traffic news interface based upon camera relevancy rankings and/or incident relevancy rankings.

Program code enabling the streaming of HD content in real-time to a game console is stored on a storage medium remote from the game console. The game console executes software that facilitates transfer of the program code from the remote storage medium to the game console. The program code ensures that sufficient bandwidth exists on a network between the game console and a HD tuner, and enables the streaming of HD content in real-time to the game console.

Systems and methods for a user interface for stylus-based user input is described. In one aspect, a stylus-based user input is received. Responsive to receiving the input, a menu is displayed. The menu includes selectable items to allow a user, by selecting one of the selectable items, to direct the computer system to generate right-mouse button input or to interpret one or more subsequent stylus-based user inputs as hover cursor input, keyboard-like input, or handwriting input.

In order to provide for efficient security of a remote presentation (such as a remote display) on a client which presents user interface data from a remote server, all requests for action to be performed on the client are examined to determine if they are requests for user interface (UI) presentation. If the request is for UI presentation, it is verified to ensure that the request is valid&#x2014;e.g., that it comes from an approved source. If the request is a valid UI request, then the request is served. If a UI request cannot be verified, the request is served, if possible, without presenting the user interface data from the request&#x2014;e.g., by hiding visual data, or playing audio data at zero or minimal volume. Otherwise, the request is not serviced and the connection from the client to the server may be terminated.

Disclosed is a 'keyboard overlay' that sits on top of a touch-sensitive display screen of a computing device. After aligning the overlay on the display screen, the user types on the overlay. When the user presses a key on the overlay, the pressure is transmitted to the display screen below. That pressure is registered by the display screen as a touch. The keyboard overlay is formed to provide tactile finger-position feedback so that a user can keep his fingers oriented properly over the keyboard. The overlay may be opaque with keycap information displayed in the key areas. The overlay may be transparent, allowing a user to see a virtual keyboard painted on the display screen below. The computing device can detect the presence and type of an overlay. Applications may respond differently to different types of overlays. Different applications may be invoked depending upon the type of overlay detected.

Systems and methods for a user interface for stylus-based user input is described. In one aspect, a user interface is provided that includes an action area. The action area includes at least one helper icon that is selectable to allow a user to specify one or more subsequent stylus-based user inputs are to me interpreted as mouse-right-button input, hover cursor input, keyboard-like input, or handwriting input. The action area is for display responsive to receiving a stylus-based user input.

Disclosed are a method and a system for detecting multiple, simultaneous touches on a touch-sensitive screen of a computing device. The hardware that controls the touch screen performs two measurements to locate a touch location on the screen. If there is a single touch, then the two measurements are equal. A non-zero difference indicates multiple touches and is correlated with the spread of locations simultaneously touched on the screen. If the difference is greater than a set threshold, then an indication is given of multiple touches. The user is warned against multiple touches, and input from the screen is ignored as long as multiple touches are detected. For some embodiments, when multiple touches are detected, the invention also tries to indicate the boundary of the set of locations simultaneously touched. The boundary is used to interpolate the intended single touch from the locations of all the touches.
