The first releasable catch may prevent movement along a first direction and the second releasable catch may prevent movement along a second direction that is opposite the first direction. The mounting adapter may include a payload support configured to support a payload. The first releasable catch and the second releasable catch may be configured to releasably fix the payload support relative to a mounting hole after the mounting adapter is inserted along the second direction into the mounting hole. The first releasable catch and the second releasable catch may be configured to releasably fix the payload support relative to the mounting hole after the mounting adapter is inserted along the first direction into the mounting hole.

Circuit cartridge

Apparatus, methods and systems for dimming light. The apparatus may include a controller unit. The controller unit may include a lighting power output port. The controller unit may include a microcontroller that may receive a digital lighting control signal and may obtain a light dimming level from the digital lighting control signal. The controller unit may include analog phase cut circuitry that may receive the light dimming level from the microcontroller and may provide lighting power corresponding to the received light dimming level to the lighting power output port. The controller unit may include a digital lighting control output circuit that may transmit the digital lighting control signal to another controller unit in a first state and attenuate the digital lighting control signal in a second state. The controller unit may include a mode circuit that may transmit a stored brightness level to the analog phase cut circuitry.

Digital to analog dimming control

Apparatus and methods for providing LED lighting on light tape and light sheet. A controller may provide lighting control data to one or more ICs on a segment of tape or sheet. The lighting control data may include a data packet. The data packet may include an address. The address may correspond to one or more of the ICs. The address may correspond to one or more LEDs on the segment. The address may correspond to one or more LEDs on a light tape. The address may correspond to one or more LEDs on a light sheet. The LEDs corresponding to the address may be controlled by a current regulator or regulators on a single IC. The LEDs corresponding to the address may be controlled by current regulators on different ICs.

Apparatus, methods and instructions for disinfecting air. The apparatus may include, and the methods may involve, a fixture. The fixture may include a germicidal light source. The fixture may include a fan. The fan may circulate air through a volume into which the germicidal light source propagates germicidal light. Apparatus, methods and systems for providing power to light-emitting diode ('LED') light sources are provided. The apparatus may include a plurality of power output channels. Each of the power output channels may provide a current to a plurality of LED modules. Each of the LED modules may correspond to one of the power output channels. The apparatus may include a protection circuit. The protection circuit may receive a conditioned voltage. The protection circuit may use the conditioned voltage to feed to the power output channels an output current that, in total, has a power no greater than a predetermined power limit. The apparatus may include a voltage conditioning circuit. The voltage condition circuit may receive line voltage. the voltage condition circuit may condition the line voltage. The voltage conditioning circuit may provide the conditioned voltage to the protection circuit.

Methods and apparatus for implementing a control apparatus for a light fixture for externally controlling the current to the LED light emitter of a landscape LED light fixture. In an exemplary embodiment a control apparatus for controlling current to an LED light source in a landscape lighting device includes an LED driver, a user control with a control setting indicator, and a driver housing including setting indicators.

LED lighting methods and apparatus

LED related lighting methods and apparatus are described. Various features relate to water tight light fixtures. Some of the fixtures are spotlights while other fixture are intended for in ground use. The light fixtures in at least some embodiments include power control features. In spotlight embodiments beam angle and power or light output can be controlled without opening the light assembly or compromising the water tight seals which also protect against dirt. In ground embodiments support tilt angle setting which allow a user to set the light fixture to one or more tilt angles. Beam angle can also be changed in some embodiments as well as power control. Beam angle, power control and tilt angle adjustments are supported in some embodiments but need not be supported in all embodiments with some embodiments using one or more of the described features but not all features.

Methods and apparatus for controlling current to an LED light source in a lighting device are described. In some embodiments, a warm dim light output is achieved. In an exemplary embodiment, a light emitting diode (LED) circuit includes two or more circuit branches coupled in parallel across a two terminal direct current (DC) voltage input including a positive input terminal and a negative input terminal; each of the two or more circuit branches including a set of light emitting diodes, each of said set of light emitting diodes including at least one light emitting diode; and at least one of said circuit branches including a current control circuit that controls the current passing through each of said two or more circuit branches.
