A method for regulating a motor-driven pump of an SCR system, the pump delivering a pressure, being subjected to a hydraulic torque in relation to this pressure and also to a resistive torque and being driven by an electric motor including coils supplied with a current and developing a torque in relation to this current, according to which to regulate the pump, use is made of a mechanism to measure the current in the coils of the motor, of a regulator of overall current consumed by the motor, and of a model of the relation between the current and the pressure using an estimate of part of the resistive torque, namely the dry frictions, obtained by rotating the pump under no-load conditions at different speeds and by measuring the associated current.

Process for starting an SCR system intended for transporting urea from a tank to the exhaust gases of an engine using a feed line, this system comprising a rotary pump controlled by a controller and driven by a brushless direct current (BLDC) motor that comprises a rotor equipped with at least one permanent magnet and with a stator comprising at least 3 electromagnetic coils in which the direct current can flow according to a given sequence to make the rotor rotate, according to which, before starting the pump, a temperature is measured using a sensor and if this temperature is below a setpoint temperature, before making the rotor rotate, the current is passed through at least one of the coils in a way such that it preheats the pump without making the rotor rotate.

A sensor for detecting a liquid level, including a measurement capacitor, a reference capacitor, an integrating capacitor, a calibration capacitor, a controller, an amplifier, a comparator, and a complementary calibration capacitor. The controller implements operations, over accumulation periods and for given target and discharge capacitors, of a target capacitor charging, a charge transfer, a decision, a conditional discharge, and a return. The target and discharge capacitors given at each period are taken from pairs of capacitors, including the measurement and calibration capacitors and the reference and complementary calibration capacitors. A method estimates the liquid level using the sensor in a vehicle.
