At least one of a variable turbine geometry and a variable compressor geometry for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include a housing including a first housing wall and a blade bearing ring having at least one guide blade rotatably mounted thereon. A control lever may be included for adjusting the at least one guide blade between a closing position and an opening position. An actuating shaft may be connected to the control lever in a rotationally fixed manner along a rotation axis. The actuating shaft may be rotatably mounted on the housing via a passage opening disposed in the first housing wall. The actuating shaft may directly support itself on the first housing wall in the passage opening.

Variable turbine and/or compressor geometry for an exhaust gas turbocharger

A bearing housing of an exhaust gas turbocharger may include an encircling and inwardly open groove arranged in the bearing housing. The bearing housing may also include a housing cover that may have at least one forming portion formed plastically into the groove. The housing cover may be secured on the bearing housing via the at least one forming portion.

A limit stop device for limiting an adjustment path of a mobile component relative to a stationary component may include a sleeve body configured to be inserted into an opening formed in the stationary component. The sleeve body may include a retaining segment disposed in the interior of the opening. A core body may be disposed in the interior of the sleeve body and be configured to radially brace the retaining segment against an inner wall of the stationary component thereby axially fixing the sleeve body on the stationary component. A stop surface may protrude into the adjustment path of the mobile component and be configured to limit the adjustment path of the mobile component.

A variable turbine geometry may have guide blades rotatably mounted in a blade bearing ring. An adjusting ring may be arranged on the bearing ring and an actuator may be configured to adjust the adjusting ring via a link lever. An adjustable eccentric may be arranged on the link lever and guided in a groove arranged on the blade bearing ring. The eccentric may be configured to stop on at least one end of the groove to limit at least one minimal flow through the variable turbine geometry.

Variable turbine geometry

The invention relates to a fuel overflow valve for a fuel injection system, particularly for limiting the pressure in a low-pressure region of the fuel injection system. The fuel overflow valve has a valve housing, in which a valve member is disposed in a stroke-moving manner, the stroke movement of the valve member controlling a connection of an inlet to the valve housing to a release region. The valve member is loaded by a valve spring in the direction of a locking position in which the connection of the inlet to the release region is interrupted, and is loaded by the pressure present in the inlet in the opening direction. The valve member may carry out a further stroke in the locking direction beyond the locking position thereof, where the valve spring does not act upon the valve member. Due to the increased stroke of the valve member, an improved balance of pressure and volume fluctuations is enabled in the low pressure region and the stroke of the valve spring, and thus the stress thereof, may be kept low.
