A wrought alloy for a bearing material for use as valve guide or in turbochargers of internal-combustion engines operated with ethanol-containing fuels. The composition of the wrought alloy is as follows in wt %: Zn: 25.0-34.0%; Fe: 0.8-1.2%; Sn: 0.8-1.2%; Al: 1.3-1.7%; Si: 0.2-0.45%; and Pb: up to 0.1%, with the balance being copper and unavoidable impurities. The sum total of all elements not belonging to the group of the elements copper, zinc, iron, tin, aluminum and silicon is at most 0.3 wt %. The alloy has a microstructure including precipitates in the form of silicides with a fraction of 0.5 to 2.0 vol %.

A method for producing a device for measuring current intensities, including: providing a resistor arrangement having connection elements and a resistor element arranged therebetween in a current flow direction. The resistor element and the connection elements consist of different electrically conductive materials; forming a contact pin from the material of at least one connection element; positioning a printed circuit board with a conductor track and a passage bore on the resistor arrangement such that the contact pin projects through the passage bore and has on the side of the printed circuit board facing away from the resistor arrangement a protrusion; laterally widening the contact pin in the region of the protrusion by deforming the material such that the printed circuit board is mechanically fixed to the resistor arrangement; and producing an electrically conductive connection between the contact pin and the conductor track of the printed circuit board.

A resistor assembly including at least two connector elements and at least one strip-like or plate-like resistor element arranged between the connector elements. The resistor element has an upper side, a lower side and two longitudinal sides parallel to each other. The at least one resistor element is of a material of which the electrical conductivity is lower than the electrical conductivity of the material of the connector elements. The resistor element has, on at least its upper side or at least its lower side, at least one shaped element as a positioning aid.

The invention relates to a sliding element consisting of a copper-zinc alloy containing the following components (in % by weight): 60.0 to 64.0% Cu, 0.2 to 0.5% Si, 0.6 to 1.2% Fe, optionally also up to a maximum 1.5% Sn, optionally also up to a maximum 0.25% Pb, optionally also up to a maximum 0.08% P, the remainder being Zn and unavoidable impurities. The copper-zinc alloy has a grain structure consisting of an &#x3b1;- and &#x3b2;-phase with a volume content of the &#x3b1;-Phase of at least 90%, and iron silicides are embedded in the grain structure.

A squirrel cage rotor, is made up of a shaft, a rotor laminated core with rotor bars which are arranged in the interior, and short-circuiting rings with clearances through which the bar ends of the rotor bars extend out of the rotor laminated core. A squirrel-cage rotor having at least one laminated rotor core and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. Short-circuit rings in the squirrel-cage rotor are provided with at least two metal composite discs. A metal composite disc includes at least a first metal disc and a second metal disc connected to the first metal disc, where the second metal disc is made of a different material from the first metal disc. Adjacent metal composite discs are arranged such that the first metal discs face one another. The short-circuit rings are attached at an end face to the rotor core. Adjoining disks in the disk stack are mutually spaced, and form a gap. The clearance between two adjoining disks, resulting from the gap, is constituted by moldings which are arranged on the disks wherein, in the gap, at least in the region of the moldings, a joint connection is provided.

A sliding element which has a main body and a layer system which is applied thereto. The layer system has at least a first layer of the thickness s, which is applied to the main body, and hard material particles having a mean extent d, which are introduced into the first layer and are therefore at least fixed on the main body. The thickness sof the first layer is such that it amounts to at least 60% and at most 90% of the mean extent d of the hard material particles, and the hard material particles form a surface structuring of the sliding element.
