An optical system for imaging an object has at least a first objective, at least a first image stabilizing unit and at least a first eyepiece, wherein, as seen in the direction of the first eyepiece from the first objective, the first objective is arranged first along a first optical axis, then followed by the first image stabilizing unit and then followed by the first eyepiece. The first image stabilizing unit is rotatably mounted in cardan-joint fashion about a first hinge point, and the first hinge point is arranged between the first objective and the first eyepiece. The optical system is distinguished by virtue of the fact that the first image stabilizing unit comprises a first lens unit and at least a further optical element, wherein the first lens unit and the optical element are arranged such that the first lens unit is, together with the optical element, rotatably mounted in cardan-joint fashion about the first hinge point.

Optical system for imaging an object

An optical system for imaging an object on an image acquisition unit has a variable focal length for zooming. The optical system has precisely three lens units from the object in the direction of an image acquisition unit, namely a first lens unit, a second lens unit, and a third lens unit. The second lens unit and the third lens unit are movably situated along an optical axis of the optical system for a change of the focal length. The first lens unit includes a first lens group and a second lens group. The first lens group of the first lens unit is fixedly situated on the optical axis of the optical system. The second lens group of the first lens unit is movably situated along the optical axis of the optical system for focusing. The second lens group includes at least two lenses.

Optical system

An optical system for imaging an object on an image acquisition unit includes a first lens unit, a second lens unit, a third lens unit, a fourth lens unit, a fifth lens unit, and a sixth lens unit disposed from the object in the direction of the image acquisition unit. The second lens unit is manufactured from a material whose deviation of the relative partial dispersion fulfills the condition: &#x394;&#x3b8;&#x3e;0.025. The third lens unit is manufactured from a material whose deviation of the relative partial dispersion fulfills the condition: &#x394;&#x3b8;&#x3c;&#x2212;0.0015. The fifth lens unit is manufactured from a material whose deviation of the relative partial dispersion fulfills the condition: &#x394;&#x3b8;&#x3c;&#x2212;0.005. According to the disclosed system, the secondary spectrum is reduced and a relative aperture is sufficient so that the optical system is usable in a telescopic sight.

Binoculars have two tubes connected to each other via a folding bridge and an Abbe-K&#xf6;nig prism system is arranged in each tube and the Abbe-K&#xf6;nig prism systems are provided for image reversal of respective visual viewing beam paths. Each Abbe-K&#xf6;nig system includes an isosceles prism and a roof prism adjacent thereto. A laser transmitter () in the first tube () and a corresponding laser receiver () in the second tube () can be changed in parallel with respect to the distance to each other by means of the folding bridge (). One of the two prisms () of each Abbe-K&#xf6;nig prism system () is configured with a splitter layer (&#x2033;) or is connected via a cement layer for splitting the viewing beam () and laser beam () into separate beams with the beams () running part way in common in the respective tubes ().

Binocular

An optical observation apparatus with at least one observation beam path and with means for laser range-finding, which have at least one transmitting device and at least one receiving device and are arranged outside the at least one observation beam path. The transmitting device and the receiving device are arranged in each case in separate housing parts of the optical observation apparatus and/or, if a folding bridge of the optical observation apparatus is present, along a mid-axis of the folding bridge. At least one diffractive optical element is provided for shaping at least the receiving beam for the at least one receiving device.

Housing for an image recording device

A telescope has at least one barrel. At least three optical elements, namely an objective lens, an inverting system, and an eyepiece are arranged within the barrel along a longitudinal axis thereof one behind another. Further, shaking movements of the barrel are compensated for by moving at least one of the optical elements relative to the barrel. The objective lens is rigidly connected to the barrel. The inverting system together with the eyepiece constitutes a common assembly. At least a part of the assembly is adapted to be moved relative to the longitudinal axis. As an alternative, the inverting system and the eyepiece are rigidly connected to the barrel and at least a part of the objective lens is adapted to be moved relative to the longitudinal axis.
