The invention relates to a delivery module () for a metering system for metering a reducing agent, in particular an aqueous urea solution, into an exhaust gas section of a motor vehicle, comprising a pump () which is connected or can be connected to a reducing agent storage tank () on the suction side via a suction line () and to a metering module () on the pressure side via a delivery line (), wherein a return line () which leads back into the storage tank () branches off from the delivery line (). The invention concerns furthermore a corresponding device for implementing the procedure.

The invention relates to a device for the regeneration, temperature loading and/or thermal management of a component, which is assigned to an exhaust gas system, of an internal combustion engine preferably of a vehicle, having at least one injection valve, which operates preferably in a chatter mode as a function of the pressure of supplied fuel, for injecting fuel for the purpose of regeneration, temperature loading and/or thermal management into the exhaust system of the internal combustion engine. The invention is distinguished by at least one pressure control valve which is arranged upstream of the injection valve and dampens or eliminates pressure fluctuations. Device and method for regenerating a particulate filter

A procedure specifically for the execution of a diagnosis of an emission treatment system is being introduced. The pressure of the reagent between the first and second valve and/or between the second valve and the injector valve is measured and the pressure measuring signal are the basis of the diagnosis. The first and second valve, are opened in an alternating cycle, where the opening time, and/or the period duration of the first and second valves are set in such a way that the emerging diagnostic flow volume is smaller than the measuring flow volume. The procedures pursuant to the invention thereby reduce the influence of dynamic precursors of the reagent flow in the reagent line and enables, aside from an increase in reliability of the diagnosis results, a diagnosis possibility of small leakages.

A fuel injection device having a fuel pump for each cylinder of an internal combustion engine, which fuel pump has a pump piston that is driven in a stroke motion by the engine and delimits a pump working chamber, which is connected to a fuel injection valve that constitutes a structural unit with the fuel pump and has an injection valve member, which controls at least one injection opening and can be moved in the opening direction counter to a closing force by the pressure generated in the pump working chamber. A first electrically actuated control valve controls a connection of the line to a discharge chamber. A second electrically actuated control valve controls a connection of a control pressure chamber of the fuel injection valve to the pump working chamber, by means of which the injection valve member is at least indirectly acted on in the closing direction. The two control valves are actuated by a shared actuator, which controls the pressure prevailing in an actuator pressure chamber, which pressure acts on the respective valve members of the control valves.

The invention relates to a method for injecting fuel, which is at high pressure, into air-compressing internal combustion engines employing an injection system which includes a compressor unit for compressing fuel and containing an actuating device for control valves with which device the nozzle needle of an injector is controlled. One of the two control valves is triggered multiple times or in clocked fashion via a piezoelectric actuator during individual injection phases or during the injection cycle.
