A strain relief facility for a coaxial cable that is connectable to an electronics unit via an associated plug, includes two half-shells forming a receiver for the coaxial cable and the associated plug, and a fastening facility to fasten the strain relief facility to the electronics unit, and to fasten the half-shells to one another. The receiver has at least one cable section to receive the coaxial cable and a plug section to receive the plug.

A method of operating a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus includes exciting a body coil of the MRI apparatus to emit a radio-frequency signal, determining a center frequency of a resonance curve of the body coil, and calculating a magnet target frequency based on the determined center frequency. A magnet is ramped to the magnet target frequency.

Operating an MRI apparatus

A magnetic resonance imaging device includes at least one magnetic shielding element, an electrical component and a coil arrangement including at least two coil rings. In an embodiment, the coil rings are arranged offset along a longitudinal direction of a patient receptacle and the coil arrangement is embodied to form a magnetic field in an inner volume surrounded partially by the coil rings and at least partially including the patient receptacle. Further, in an embodiment, the shielding element and the electrical component outside of the inner volume are arranged in the longitudinal direction centrally between the coil rings and the shielding element shields the electrical component from the magnetic field outside of the inner volume.

Magnetic resonance imaging device

An electric circuit arrangement for energizing a magnet of a magnetic resonance imaging facility includes a first circuit part, a second circuit part and a control facility. In an embodiment, the first circuit part is designed to generate a direct voltage as an DC link voltage from an alternating voltage and the second circuit part is designed as a current source fed by the DC link voltage. The second circuit part includes a down converter controllable by the control facility, a transformer switchable by the control facility and a rectifier. A primary current is generatable from the DC link voltage via the down converter. The primary current is feedable by a switching facility, switched by the control facility into a primary side of the transformer, and a secondary current for energizing the magnet is generatable via the rectifier connected to a secondary side of the transformer.

Electric circuit arrangement for energizing a magnet of a magnetic resonance imaging facility and magnetic resonance imaging facility

A device includes a first and a second part, relatively rotatable, and data transmission structures for contactless transmission of data. The data transmission structures include a transmit and/or receive facility a coupling facility on the two parts. The transmit and/or receive facility extends over a small angle and the coupling facility extends over a complete circle. Data is transmitted between the facilities at a transmission frequency. The two parts include walls encompassing a tunnel interior space extending completely around the axis of rotation. The data transmission structures are arranged in the tunnel interior space. The walls are electrically conductive structures reflecting electromagnetic alternating fields in the transmission frequency range. An absorber structure is arranged at least on a part of the walls toward the tunnel interior space and the absorber structure absorbs electromagnetic alternating fields in the range of the transmission frequency.

EMC shielding for contactless data transmission

A computer tomography installation having contactless data signal transmission is provided. The device includes a conductor element that is longitudinally slit coaxial, at least one high-frequency transmitting unit that feeds a high-frequency carrier signal modulated with a data signal to be transmitted into the conductor element, and at least one longitudinally slit coaxial coupling conductor element that is configured to receive the emitted modulated high-frequency carrier signal from the near field of the conductor element. The device also includes a high-frequency receiving unit that is electrically connected to the coupling conductor element and is configured to extract the data signal from the received modulated high-frequency carrier signal. The conductor element and the coupling conductor element are arranged to be movable relative to each other. The conductor element is arranged on a rotatable gantry part, and the coupling conductor element is arranged on a stationary gantry part.

Computed tomography system and patient table including a contactless transfer of electrical signals

The invention relates to a computer tomography installation having contactless data signal transmission. The device comprises at least one longitudinally slit coaxial conductor element (), at least one high-frequency transmitting unit (), which feeds into the conductor element () a high-frequency carrier signal modulated with a data signal to be transmitted, at least one longitudinally slit coaxial coupling conductor element (), which is designed to receive the emitted modulated high-frequency carrier signal () from the near field of the conductor element (), and at least one high-frequency receiving unit (), which is electrically connected to the coupling conductor element () and is designed to extract the data signal from the received modulated high-frequency carrier signal, wherein the conductor element () and the coupling conductor element () are arranged in such a way that the conductor element and the coupling conductor element can be moved in relation to each other. The conductor element () is arranged on a rotatable gantry part (), and the coupling conductor element is arranged on a stationary gantry part (). The invention further relates to a patient table having such data transmission between moving parts.

Computed tomography system and patient table comprising a contactless transfer of electrical signals

A circuit arrangement is provided for the current supply of a magnetic resonance imaging installation with a radio-frequency shielding cabin and at least one basic field magnet. The arrangement includes a first circuit arranged outside the radio-frequency shielding cabin and configured to generate a DC link voltage from a grid voltage, and a second circuit arranged within the radio-frequency shielding cabin and configured to generate a magnetization current for the basic field magnet from the DC link voltage. This architecture makes it possible to realize a cost-effective solution for an integrated (fixedly installed) modular magnetization current supply.
