The present disclosure relates to a brake actuator unit for an electromechanical brake and to an electromechanical brake. The brake actuator unit comprises a spindle, a spindle nut, and a spindle bearing, which receives the spindle, has a spherical bearing contact surface and absorbs the axial reaction forces of the spindle when the brake is actuated.

An actuator assembly comprises a ball screw drive having a ball screw spindle rotatably mounted about a spindle axis, on which a spindle nut is received, and a thread track on an outer circumferential surface of the ball screw spindle, has a portion of a ball return on a circumferential wall of the ball screw spindle, which return connects a beginning and an end of the thread track to one another. At the beginning and at the end of the thread track, an insert is inserted in which a ball race is formed, which is part of the ball return. The inserts are arranged such that each end of a ball race adjoins a portion of the ball return and another end adjoins a beginning of a thread track or an end of the thread track. In a section perpendicular to a spindle axis, an angle of the ball race to a tangent to the thread track at an adjacent beginning or end of the thread track is greater than 90° in a central portion between the first and the second end of the ball race. To determine the angle, a side of the tangent on which a portion of the thread track directly adjacent to the beginning or the end lies is selected. To produce the ball screw spindle, a channel of the ball return is introduced into the circumferential wall, a thread is introduced into an outer circumferential surface of the ball screw spindle, and in each case one depression is introduced into the outer circumferential surface at the beginning and at the end of the thread track, and inserts are inserted into the depressions.

An actuator assembly for a vehicle brake is described. It comprises a carrier assembly () on which an activating carriage () for a brake lining is guided linearly. Moreover, an electric motor fastened to the carrier assembly () is provided which is coupled drivingly to the activating carriage via a gear unit and a spindle drive such that the activating carriage can be displaced selectively between a retracted position and an extended position. In addition, the actuator assembly comprises a locking assembly () for selectively immobilizing in rotation an output shaft () of the electric motor. The locking assembly () here comprises a locking lever () which at a first end () is mounted rotatably on the carrier assembly () and at a second opposite end () is coupled to a locking actuator (). A locking tooth () is moreover positioned between the first end () and the second end (). A method for activating an actuator assembly for a vehicle brake is furthermore presented.

A side handle for a power tool includes a base, a grip with an elongated tubular inner section having a first end and a second end, an outer sleeve which surrounds at least part of the inner section. The outer sleeve is connected to the inner section at the first end via a connecting section. The connecting section is resiliently deformable to allow pivotal movement of the outer sleeve relative to the inner section. Damping masses can be attached to the inner section and/or outer sleeve.

A hydraulic vehicle brake with a parking brake device, in particular for motor vehicles, includes a brake housing in which a hydraulic service pressure chamber is delimited by a brake piston, wherein hydraulic pressure fluid can be applied to the hydraulic service pressure chamber for carrying out service brake operations so that the brake piston is actuatable along a longitudinal piston axis in order to achieve a braking effect. The parking brake device acts on the brake piston with an actuating device, which actuates a rolling-element ramp-type gear with an electromechanical actuator. In order to achieve a higher rate of overall efficiency as well as a reduced electric energy consumption, a two-step gear is interposed between the electromechanical actuator () and the actuating device (), wherein the first gear step () on the inlet side is connected to an output shaft () of the electromechanical actuator () and the second gear step () on the outlet side is connected to the rolling-element ramp-type gear ().

Hydraulic vehicle brake with integrated electromechanically operable parking brake

A hydraulic vehicle brake equipped with a parking brake device, in particular for motor vehicles, including a brake housing in which a hydraulic service pressure chamber is delimited by a brake piston, wherein the parking brake device acts on the brake piston and, in the applied condition, can be locked by a locking device, and an energy accumulator cooperating with the brake piston is equipped with at least one integrated spring element. In order to realize a simple and low-cost parking brake function that complies with legal requirements, according to the invention, the parking brake device is operable by a pressure that is introduced into the service pressure chamber and enables charging the energy accumulator.
