The invention relates to a wing with at least two winglets and a respective airplane. An upstream winglet broadens a region of inclined airflow and a more downstream winglet produces a thrust contribution therein.

Airplane wing

The invention relates to a wing for an airplane having at least two winglets, wherein a local angle of attack at the upstream winglet shall be reduced by a passive elastic morphing in heavy load conditions and wherein stall shall occur for the downstream winglet, then. Both serves for limiting and reducing the forces and torques produced by the winglets.

A wing for an airplane has an outer wing end and an inner side of the wing for mounting to the airplane. The outer wing has at least two winglets connected to the wing, including an upstream winglet preceding a downstream winglet in a flight direction of the wing. The first winglet and the second winglet are mutually inclined, as seen against the flight direction, by a relative dihedral angle.

An outlet nozzle for centrifuge drums is disclosed. The outlet nozzle includes a nozzle body which has an inlet channel extending axially therein and an outlet channel extending at an obtuse angle to the inlet channel. The outlet channel has an inlet opening and an outlet opening, where the diameter of the outlet channel increases at least in certain portions. The point on the outlet channel which is narrowest in terms of the cross-section is formed by the inlet opening itself and the cross-section of the outlet channel is not reduced at any point over the axial length of the outlet channel in the outlet direction.

Outlet nozzle for a centrifuge drum

The present disclosure relates to a rotary-cutting disk for a centrifuge. The rotary-cutting disk includes a disk-shaped base section adjoined by a tube-shaped section. Also included is at least one draining duct for a liquid phase in the base section, the draining duct extending at an acute angle from an inlet at an outer circumference of the base section and in a flow direction of a liquid phase. The at least one draining duct includes walls extending from the inlet to an outlet. At least one of the walls of the draining duct is at least partially or in sections contoured in a wave shape.
